Homebound

Coraline's POV

I opened my eyes and came face to face with Klee. 'Klee? What's going on?' I tried talking to her and I realized we were under water. She pointed up and we both started swimming but were stopped by a ginormous shark coming towards us. We weren't scared just in shock that such a thing could exist in this world.

He swam in front of us so we gripped on his fin and he began swimming to the surface. We broke surface and I was shot into the air.

Klee's POV

I gasped for air. The boys were surrounding me. "What happened?"

"Are you okay?"

"Who did you find?"

Then a loud thud was heard on the wing of the jet. I got up to open the door while the guys ran and sat down in their seats. I opened it and Coraline stepped in and closed the door. She pulled me into a tight hug.

"Thank you! How'd you find me?" She asked pulling away from the hug.

"I don't know. I just closed my eyes and I saw a necklace in the water. I tried to grab it but it sank and led me to you." I told her truthfully. "Speaking of the necklace. You're wearing it." She was wearing the blue necklace I saw in the water.

"What about yours? I've never seen it before." She grabbed the necklace around my neck.

"When did that get there?" I reached for it too. Mine was a .........

"Nevermind about your new necklaces! Where Aryn?!" Adrian yelled.

"Calm down. We'll find her." I told him.

"But we have to land this thing." Cora said.

"Why is that?" Jack asked.

"Because Aryn would be somewhere hot right? Yomi would be somewhere where there is electricity. And Melody will be somewhere close to the earth. Obviously we have to look in certain places like that." Tony said.

"Okay. I'll go tell him to land somewhere." Adrian walked off.

"Why aren't you soaking wet? I mean you just came out of the freaking ocean! Anybody else would be covered in water. Why aren't you?" Jack asked stupidly.

Cora and I face palmed. "How could anyone be this stupid?" She asked.

"Stupid. She's a water elemental. She works with water. Which means water doesn't affect her unless she wants to." I spoke as clear as possible.

"What does that have to do with this?" He asked confused.

I walked up to him but Kenneth pulled me back and say me on a chair. "Boy! I'm not a child. Do that to me again. I'll have Aryn beat you! With her whatchamacallit powers." I said rolling my eyes.

"Her fire powers?" Kenneth said.

"Yeah those!" I yelled pointing at him.

Cora groaned and Adrian came back. "Okay there's a field up ahead and we're gonna stop there. Is everything alright?"

"Your brother is a major idiot." I told him as I Kenneth and I went to sit down.

"You just noticed?" He sat down across from us. Everyone laughed and Jack just huffed and sat with his brother.

Melody's POV

I woke up laying down in a small space. 'What the hell?' I started pushing on the walls around me. Nothing budges. 'Where am I?'

I started banging on them hoping someone would hear me and rescue me from wherever this place is. I heard footsteps and I froze.

"Help me! Please!?" The footsteps stopped. 'Maybe they heard me?' I banged on the walls again.

"Hello?!"

I heard a voice, "Melody! Is that you?"

"Yes! Can you help me out of here? Please?!"

I felt a vibration above me. Then a loud bang and then I got shocked. I flinched back and closed my eyes. The thing I was in opened and I was met with a bright light. "How's it going?" Yomi asked me.

"Good. Now help me up?" She stuck her hand downwards to me, I put my hand in hers and she pulled me out. "Thanks."

"You're welcome." She said.

I dusted myself off, "So. Any idea where we are?"

She shook her head, "Nope. I just woke up. I started walking around and then I heard you banging on the walls of that coffin. It was buried into the ground under a bunch other ones and when I finally got to yours it wouldn't open. So I had to electrocute it to get you out of there." She explained.

"Yeah I know. I felt it, hurt like a motherfreaker by the way. Thanks for that." I rubbed my hand.

"Anyways. Let's try to find out where we're at." We walked away from the coffins and walked in the opposite direction.

Aryn's POV

I was walking around a volcano, honestly it was huge. I was already tired of walking. "Is anyone here!?" I shouted.

All I heard back was an echo of my voice. "Ugh. Where am I even at?" I said to myself.

I tried to mindlink with the girls but no one was answering. 'Ugh I wonder how far I am from a city or something.' I thought.

I jumped up from where I was and up to the top of the volcano. I walked over to the edge of it and lava popped out. 'Can I control lava?' I thought. Out of the blue a voice spoke back to me.

'Anything having to do with heat or fire. Yes you can control.' A female voice said.

'Who are you?' I asked.

'The person who gave you your gift. Otherwise I wouldn't be helping you.'

'Okay then. Person who gave me my powers, tell me. How am I going to be getting out of here?'

'That's for you to figure out. But in about 5 minutes I suggest you have something signaling to others that you are there and need to be rescued.'

'Why?'

'You'll find out when 5 minutes pass.' Then her voice faded away.

"How does that even make sense?" I asked it loud. I groaned having to think of how I would get a signal of life into the sky.

"I guess. Let's do this." I said stretching my arms and pointing them outwards.

Melody's POV

We were walking around for a while now, all we saw were a bunch of electrical things and a bunch of plants. "I'm getting tired."

I rolled my eyes at her. "You're always tired Yomi."

"No like this time is different, like my power is draining from me." She threw herself into the floor dramatically.

"You're fine!" I told her. "Now get up, before I hit you."

"So there's a joke I've been wanting to make," I waited for her to continue. "You wanna hear it?"

"Well obviously if I'm waiting for you to say it." I was waving my arms around to put emphasis on what I was saying.

"Okay so you know how we're like in a habitat with our powers and stuff?"

"Yeah, go on." I said.

"I guess you could say that we're..."

"What? We're what?"

"Homebound." She looked at me seriously.

I pushed her onto the floor, hard but not hard enough to make her get hurt by the floor. "You're an idiot." I started laughing at her as she stood up.

"Thanks. Melody." She said weirdly.

I gave her a look, "Hurry up so we can find a way out."
