Fighting and Swimming with the Fishes

I wasn't scared at all cause I knew this would happen. I knew this shark his name was Evros (pronounced Ever-os). I've seen him every year when I come here, he helped me figure out that I talk to animals. Ever since he's been my first wild animal friend. I can hold my breath for a long time but not an hour long.

'Melody!'

'Evros! I missed you!' I swam up to him and wrapped my arms around him.

'I missed you too! Now what would you be doing out in the ocean at this time at night?' I let go of him and moved a foot away from him.

'I'm here at a party with other people, but no one wants to get in because they're scared of getting eaten by you and others like you.'

Evros is a very old shark he actually can control over all the Sharks within 10 miles of him. 'I see now what would you like me to do?' I saw his eyes were turning black which meant he was hungry or taking control of other sharks around.

'Can you please send all the harmful creatures away from us so everyone can swim and surf? Please please please??' I asked him. He took a moment to reply.

'They're already gone now. Go enjoy your party, visit me as soon as possible.' With that he swam away.

'Thank you!' I yelled to him. I swam back up to the surface and saw I was a quarter of a mile away from the shore. I sighed and began my swim back to the party.

Coraline's POV

I knew what Melody was going to do. She had told us about a great white shark that she knows who can control other sharks. I thought it was awesome you know we could like swim with them and not get eaten. HOW AWESOME IS THAT!

When she started swimming I saw her get dragged down, I saw movement in the corner of my eye so I turned my head. I saw the guy she was talking with start running into the water. I ran over to him and pulled him back to the shore. "Calm down!"

"What do you mean calm down? She just got dragged down in the water and you want me to calm down!?" He yelled.

"Don't yell at her she hasn't done anything but try to help you, you Asshole!" Aryn came up screaming.

"Calm down you three! Boy person, Melody's gonna be fine! Nothing is gonna happen to her, she's just trying to prove a point." Klee pointed out.

"How would you know? She could be a nobody for all we know! Hayes why would you even care if anything happens to her or not?" That same girl from earlier said.

I let go of 'Hayes' and stood up. I slowly walked up to her and they girls followed me quickly. I got right in her face even if she was two inches taller than me, I didn't care. "No body is gonna talk about our best friend like that!" I started pushing her back with my finger.

Yomi stepped up and pushed me aside. "If you even decided to say anything like that again, I will throw your sorry ass into the water and make sure sharks rip you apart limb by limb." She practically growled at her.

Aryn pushed Yomi back, "she's not kidding. And guess what? Each and everyone of us four will beat you."

"Do you understand?" Klee asked with a scary look on her face.

The girl looked at us scared. A tall, skinny boy with brown and a light brown patch in his hair pulled her back to him. "Madison I think you should leave these girls alone."

A blonde boy next to him spoke up, "They can easily take you on. I mean 4 against 1. That's not fair but I'm pretty sure they will do it."

She mumbled a whatever and turned around. "I thought we were gonna have to beat someone for a second there." I said laughing. Then we heard a scream. "Melody!"

Melody's POV

I started walking when I felt the ground and I saw my best friends standing in front of Madison. I looked away from them and saw the guy who's name I do not know yet running towards me. "Melody!" I looked at the girls questioning why he knew my name if I never told him. They all looked at me and ran towards me. I was tackled down by a body bigger than mine and we fell into the water.

I jumped up and pulled the person up with me. I saw it was the blue eyed boy. He hugged me and held on for dear life. "What the hell were you thinking!? You could've died!"

I laughed, "but I didn't did I? Now since you know my name why don't you tell me yours?"

He chuckled and pulled away from the hug. "Hayes, my name is Hayes." He said with a smile.

"Nice to meet you Hayes, I'm Melody." I smiled.

Soon enough I was again tackled into the water but by four bodies this time. "Melody you crazy person! At least let us know what you're doing before you do it!" Aryn yelled at me. We all laughed and walked back to shore.

"So people I can definitely say there are no sharks near by, but there are a few fishes not harmful and the waves are awesome! So let's get into the water!" I yelled throwing my hands up in the air. Everyone cheered and ran into the water.

I grabbed Hayes hand and dragged him in with the girls and I. As we swam in the water I noticed a bunch of fish around us. Yomi started laughing.

"What are you laughing at?" Klee asked.

"Now we can say we were swimming with the fishes!" Our little group laughed at her and kept swimming and talking.

It was 5 in the morning and we were getting ready to go to sleep, Klee andI finished showering and Yomi was using my bathroom to shower and Coraline was using the hallway shower. Aryn was being Aryn and getting something to eat. I was texting Hayes since we left the beach. He was saying how he wants to hang out again and that he'll bring his friends and I'll bring my girls so it'll be like a group date.

'I'll have to ask the girls if they would want to go but I'm totally up for it. Anyways were gonna go to bed now. Goodnight.' I texted him.

'Awesome! Text me what they say when you ask them. I should go to bed too, goodnight beautiful.' I read his message and closed all the apps I had open and pulled my phone into the charger.

I looked at my door and for some reason we had our doors open. I yelled to the girls, "Goodnight!" A chorus of 'Goodnights' followed back. I closed my eyes and drifted to sleep.
