A gloomy Monday morning a few weeks after the wedding saw Yamada smiling as Hitoshi headed to open the door at the sound of frantic knocking. Eijiro stood on the other side, duffle bag over his shoulder, freshly dyed black hair, and a determined look on his face.

"Reporting for heat duty!" The boy rattled off, saluting like a mini soldier.

Hitoshi stared at him with a frown. "Why is your hair black again?"

The newly dark-haired boy blinked, then shyly scratched his cheek. "Oh, um, my middle school won't let me keep it dyed."

Hitoshi rolled his eyes and snorted. "Your school is dumb. The nest is this way."

Yamada watched the two boys head down the hall. He relaxed as he felt warm arms wrap around his waist. He purred when his husband's warm hands pressed into his abdomen.

"Are we sure about this?" Aizawa asked as he nuzzled Yamada's neck.

"Our baby boy was asking for him," Yamada smiled. "He is seeking comfort and knows Katsuki has been asking for Toshi."

"Still..." Aizawa huffed.

"Love, just focus on me," Yamada smiled. "Let's trust Izuku's judgement. Emi is already on her way to pick up Toshi."

The raven-haired man growled softly then rested his forehead against Yamada's shoulder.

"They're in middle school," the man mumbled.

"And that cute, shark-toothed boy has been courting our green bean since elementary," the blonde laughed. "They aren't dating, but if you think they aren't at least going to be a pack, you are sorely mistaken."

Aizawa grunted but was silent as the door popped open again. Emi entered, eyes bright and mischievous.

"The sleep-deprived little wolf ready?" The woman asked. "Because my feral gremlin has threatened to bite any other alpha that comes in his room."

"Yeah," Yamada grinned. "He's getting the baby shark settled with Izuku."

"Such a good big brother," Emi cooed. "It's so sweet how they're already so set on who they want. Almost like they're-"

"Say it and I will literally throw you off the tallest building I can find, " Aizawa snarled.

"Heard," Emi laughed. "Nemuri is the same way with ours."

"Shou says they're too young," Yamada snickered.

"For the adult stuff, yeah," Emi agreed. "But not for things like this. I think it will make their bond stronger."

Aizawa snarled at her as Eijiro and Hitoshi walked out, this time Hitoshi was the one with the bag.

"Sup, Auntie Emi," Hitoshi smiled.   "Dad, papa.   Zuku's sleeping with sharky, but he's nonverbal.  Can you remind the knucklehead about some of the basic signs before you two wind up in your own stuff?"

Yamada smiled.   "Of course, baby boy.   Now go take care of your gremlin before he bites someone."

"Still don't like it," Aizawa grumped one more time, face pressed to his mate's shoulder.

Yamada gently reached up to pat his head as Hitoshi nodded and started to follow Emi out the door.   The blond smile at the quiet questions about Katsuki's attitude and symptoms floated back from their departure.    His warm eyes turned toward Eijiro who stood silently and observant.

"Hey, little listener," Yamada smiled.   "So what signs did you want to be reminded of?"

"Oh, um...can I ask something else first?" the boy whispered, the nerves visible on his face.
