Ekko looked exhausted as she stepped from the room on the left when they approached.   Her left hand looked bruised, but she seemed relieved.

"You're okay," she said softly moving towards them, then came to a stop.   "Uncle Zashi...may I check my little brothers?"

Yamada nodded.   "Yeah.   My brain trusts pack without question."

Ekko moved and knelt in front of the boys.   "How are you two doing?"

"Sore," Katsuki grunted.

"I'm okay...just scared," Hitoshi whispered.   "What happened to your hand?   Did you get hurt?"

Ekko smiled and held up the bruised limb.   "This?  This is a side effect of quirk overuse for me.   Kan's been in a panic since we got here.   He's just now calming down."

"Why?" Katsuki asked, eyes sad as he gently touched her hand.   He knew how much bruises like that could hurt after a few bad training sessions of his own.

"Because he woke up after his treatment and thought those villains still had you guys," Ekko explained calmly.   "He calmed down when they brought Izuku into your room.   We had to move the nest so he could see in, but he's at least resting now."

The nurse quietly stepped away to check on Izuku while the two pieces of the pack calmed each other down.   Katsuki studied his big sister's hand then nodded and looked up at Nemuri.

"Can I go see Kan so that Izuku has just his dads and brother first?" Katsuki asked.

"That's up to you, Hitoshi, and Ekko," Nemuri answered gently.

Katsuki looked to Ekko who smiled and nodded, giving her permission.   She stood while Katsuki whispered with Hitoshi.  The taller boy looked uncertain,  but seemed willing to listen.  Aizawa grunted and nodded towards Ekko's hand.

"That's not as bad as last time you had backlash," Aizawa noted.

"Yeah," Ekko smiled.   "It helps that Kiko's been able to help a lot in this situation.   It's more of an ache this time than painful, which helps.   How are you doing?"

"Sore, but okay," Aizawa answered, touching the bandage without thinking.  He froze when he felt Yamada shift in his hold.

"Did I do that?" Yamada whispered from beside him.

"You were in protective mode," Ekko answered for Aizawa.   "You were protecting the kids.   I can attest to that.   You saw us as a threat after what had happened.   If it had been Uncle Keigo or me...we'd probably in a bad spot, but this idiot knew you weren't going to really hurt him."

Yamada whined again and let Aizawa pull him closer, letting him press his nose to the bandage.

"Shhh," Aizawa cooed gently as Hitoshi let go and Katsuki headed towards the door leading towards Ekko's pack.   "I swear to you, my songbird, that I am okay.   You barely broke skin.   It was a warning, not an attack."

He held his husband as the blond processed information he hadn't been aware of since coming out of his feral state.    Hitoshi stood at Aizawa's side, watching Katsuki in concern.   Aizawa gently reached down and nudged his son towards their room while Ekko followed Katsuki.  The man held his husband as he watched the others.

Ekko crouched next to Katsuki as the blond hesitated at the doorway.  He couldn't hear what she was whispering, but Nemuri, who had followed, was smiling sadly.   He saw the pre-teen's shoulder tremble before he walked in, Ekko and Nemuri close behind.

At the other door, Hitoshi stood staring in, probably at his brother.    After a moment, Hawks stepped to the door, bending down so he was eye level with his nephew.   The winged hero didn't need to say anything before taking Hitoshi's hand and leading him inside.  It made him feel good to see the boys trusting others in the pack.
