Author Note: There is some trauma going on in this chapter. Nothing is written out in detail, just implied.

Life seemed to have settled since the wedding. Lark was flourishing with her parents and more than once Nora had sent the pack group chat pictures of Hawks chasing their daughter as she learned how to use her wings. Hitoshi and Katsuki were joined at the hip, both in school and whenever they could outside of school. Eijiro was around more often as well, doting on Izuku like they had been together their entire life.

Aizawa found himself growing on his approval of the boy as he watched how he treated his youngest son. Eijiro asked before touching Izuku every time and never did more than hold hands or snuggle him. Yamada had teased his mate relentlessly about being grumpy about their boys finding their future mates.

School was even going well for the children. All three spent the majority of their time at their middle school but also attended special courses at UA instead of a normal cram school. Hitoshi was working closely with Yamada on techniques for his voice-based quirk. Katsuki was working with Inui on how to make his personality and quirk less scary for victims. Izuku was actively studying under Power Loader on support equipment.

At least that was how it had been going as they neared summer break.

"Hey, Dad," Hitoshi called as they arrived in Aizawa's classroom on a Friday.

"Going to class," Izuku called before dropping his bookbag and hurrying off to their uncle's classroom.

Aizawa smirked. "So I don't rank?"

"At least he stopped in," Hitoshi shrugged. "And he probably won't stop by Papa's room."

"So I rank," Aizawa snickered as he offered his son a snack. "How was the normal school?"

"Pretty good," Hitoshi sighed. "Except Kats has a head cold so the aunties kept him home. He's gonna be pissed he missed dodgeball today."

"Figures that would be what he missed," Aizawa smiled. "Anything I need to know that is upcoming?"

Hitoshi considered it as he slowly nibbled on the jelly sandwich his dad had given him. "Oh! There's a field trip to a museum in like a week. They're looking for chaperons and parent permission."

Aizawa accepted the permission slip that his son held out to him. Reading over it, he frowned. "I can't go, but we can see if one of the other pack can."

"I mean, we weren't gonna ask you directly," Hitoshi said. "We know you guys are gonna be busy with the end of school and all."

"Toshi," Yamada scolded from the doorway. "Our kids will always come first over everything else. That's why Nem called off today since your boyfriend is homesick."

Hitoshi glanced down. "Yeah...but you guys do so much for us already."

Yamada crouched in front of his son. "Kiddo, do you want one of us or one of the pack to go with you?"

Hitoshi toyed with the buttons on his jacket. "Was...gonna ask one of you and big sis..."

"Then ask," Yamada encouraged. "I'm sure your big sis can get a day off and we'll make it work."

"Can one of you be a chaperon?" the purple-haired boy whispered.

"Rock, paper, scissors?" Yamada asked his husband. He could spot the glow of hope on their son's face at the question.

Aizawa studied their son then grunted. "I hate big crowds. You go, limelight lover. I'll focus on getting dinner ready for everyone, maybe a sleepover for the mini-pack?"

Hitoshi sat up straighter, eyes bright. "Really?"

"You good with that, pup?" Yamada asked.

"Yeah! Izu's gonna love it! Can I go ask big sis now? She's here today right?" Hitoshi asked, almost vibrating in his seat.
