Hi!! I'm finally back. I was just recovering from an injury so it was really hard to write but I saw sooo much support- I can't believe how many of you like my story! Thank you sooo much, it means a lot. I know it's long but I like to tease haha. This is just a fun little bonus chapter, no conflict, nothing crazy. Just the happy couple having fun. I'll be writing one where they talk everything out and dropping that later. And some other fun little bonus chapters here and there. Enjoy :)

Ranya did love her job- from the students, to the marking, to all the stuff no one thinks teachers have to do- she enjoyed it all. But, she still needed her breaks.

Despite summer being longer, she enjoyed her winter break way more. There was something about the atmosphere that time around, the cozy and jolly spirit around her was contagious.

Her and Saad had been together for nearly two years now, their lives finally normal. When she was younger, she didn't know exactly what Saad would be like as a partner. As a friend, he was great. He was kind, thoughtful, caring. He had all the qualities she wanted in her husband, but there was a different side of him she hadn't seen.

Snuggled under a blanket, Ranya had finally gotten around to reading a book she'd been drying to read. It was a short novel, one about loss and love, it too was set in the winter. Really, she had only gotten a few chapters in when the door behind her opened.

Blowing in a gust of wind, small snowflakes fought their way inside her home, the chilly breeze sent a shiver down her spine. Lightly dusting the snow off his shoulder, Saad stood on the carpet before the door. Giving up before he had even gotten rid of half of it, he stepped towards the living room before stopping abruptly.

"Rani? You're here?" He quickly threw off his jacket, practically jumping out of his shoes.

His reaction made Ranya throw her head back in laughter, "Where else would I be?"

"Marking I figured, but this is a great surprise." Saad beamed, taking a seat on the couch, directly beside her. "What are you reading?"

"A book." Ranya teased, knowing he hated that.

"Mhmm." He nodded, squinting his eyes because her little smile gave away her intentions. He was ahead when it came to reading each other though. Shoving his head between her chest and the book she had still been holding, hoping to continue reading, he began reading some of the book out loud.

"Saad!" Ranya groaned, shutting the book in his face before putting it down as Saad sat back up with a satisfied smirk lining his lips.

"I need your undivided attention, Ranya." Saad told her, his face suddenly serious, the smirk gone as fast as it appeared.

"Oh yeah? Why is that?"

"Because I miss my wife." He told her, leaning in close and planting a kiss right beside her lips, teasing her some more. He knew she hated that.

Rolling her eyes she pulled her blanket further up, shivering ever so slightly. She was only a little bit sick, as she often was during this time of year. Maybe she had a weaker immune system than everyone else, or maybe it was because she was always around snot nosed kids.

"Do you?" She asked, challenging him, "Because I barely see you, it's like you're married to your job."

"I'll quit for you." Saad told her, his face all serious. It kind of scared him but part of him was very serious. If she had actually asked him to leave work for her, he'd do it in a heartbeat. He wouldn't think twice. He had plenty saved to live off of comfortably anyways.
