Throwing your hands over the medallion's rich glow your heart pounds against your ears. Cheeks warm to the touch, the cool morning air prickling at your skin.
A shuffle from the corner of your eye swiftly catches your attention. The person that invaded your dreams just a few steps away.
Yellow hand holding the blanket against his frame, the warmth of it still lingers from the echos of your dreams. Just as the warmth of the medallion around your chest grows ever more.
Sunspot shuffles again, his serene expression twisting to discomfort. The light of the medallion becoming apparent. Swiftly taking the item off its glow falters, still ever persistent but a distance made. This seems to work as his expression relaxes once again,
But it does not stop him from waking up.
His eyes prying open, still under the spell of sleep he does not question your clamoring out of bed and into the hallway.
"Calm down..." you tell yourself, "You need to calm down,"
Your walk to the bathroom seemed even shorter than ever as your dream replays from the start. The faded memory of Aphrodite, the rich colors and expression of Sunspot.
Autopilot flicks on in your mind, as giggles and squeals rise in your chest. You'd rather kill yourself before letting it out with Sunspot in the vicinity. It was a dream and while the potential is nice you had to settle in reality.
There's no way he'd do what he did in your dreams.
Flashes of the past scroll through as you think of your dynamic with Sunspot. The gentle touches that ment not much before but how you crave it now. The offers of his time and patience, an action of a good friend that -at least right now- you wish you could call something more.
A knock startles your thoughts.
Quickly composing yourself you prepare to face the guy making your heart race.
"You okay?" He signs. Sweater long since been tossed in the middle of the night, leaving him in a white under shirt. Slightly wrinkled but was not helping your current case.
Nodding you reply, "yeah...just the uh food from last night catching up."
"Warned you about putting in that extra spicy sauce," Rolling your eyes you push past him.
"Oh!" you exclaim, "your medallion," Every step towards your room felt oddly present. Keenly aware of how you were holding yourself, the weight of your body, how your hair fell.
Reaching your door frame you look down the hall, locking eyes with Sunspot. Embarrassment skittering the back of your neck in those last steps into your room.
Medallion resting on your bed the soft glow had yet to dissipate. A frustrated groan leaving you knowing these lingering feelings leave for many vulnerabilities.
With the medallion in hand you step back out. Again each step towards him feeling oddly heavy. The sway of your arms stiffer than you recall if ever.
Holding the medallion towards him you focus is on nothing in particular. At least in attempt.
Taking the medallion in his hands, the brush of your fingers sent butterflies dancing upon the contact.
"Did you figure out what you needed to from it?"
A big sigh escapes from you, "More than I thought," Your eyes dart in contact yet again with his, realizing your words could lead to interrogation. Punctuating in a lighthearted laugh you make your way to the kitchen.
Sunspot sighs with a smile of endearment. Seeing you so distracted was all he needed to know you two were on the same page.
Meaning-
"So, what are you thinking of doing today?"
