I can't believe you're doing this! You're seriously going to abandon me here?" Scarlett yelled, pacing frustratedly
"I'm not abandoning you. I'm asking you to come with me." George defended trying to calm her as he watched the panic set in
"So I have to choose whether to be in this hell hole without you or to run off without finishing my education and therefore give up on a career?!"
"You can work with me and Fred in the store."
"I don't want to have everything in my life revolve around you George!" Scarlett pulled away once again from George's attempts to hold her. Before they could continue arguing Fred walked into the room to the sight of the couple glaring at him
"I feel like I may have walked in on something...."
"Was it your smart idea to leave school before exams are over?" Scarlett asked in a calm but stern tone sending shivers down George's spine. Her ability to control herself so quickly when a few seconds ago she was yelling was eerie.
"It was a shared idea why? Are you coming with us?" Fred replied unaware of the change in Scarlett thanks to the silencing charm cast on the door.
"No I'm not coming with you! I have one more exam the day after tomorrow. Can't you just leave then and I'll come with you."
"Umbridge will rip up your exams as soon as she sees you with us you know that right? You can always work at the shop with us." George winced knowing Fred had said the one sentence that would unravel the illusion of calmness Scarlett had created.
"I DON'T WANT TO WORK FOR YOU TWO!" Scarlett shouted before pushing past them and out of the room. She stormed into the Gryffindor common room surprising many of the students, but she didn't care, she wanted to leave and that's exactly what she was going to do.
She walked into the Hufflepuff common room finally feeling a little less fury. She saw Bianca and Hannah on the sofa so made her way to them sighing when she sat down
"What's up Scar?"
"You were in such a good mood when you left this afternoon." They both asked concerned
"Fred and George are going to leave Hogwarts." She replied bluntly
"I don't understand. You're leaving Hogwarts too, so is Bianca, you're in your final year." Hannah replied confused, irritating Scarlett more.
Bianca noticed and turned to Hannah "I don't think Scar means they're leaving at the end of the school year."
"I just can't believe he's going to abandon me here, or even worse expects me to leave with him abandoning my career goals and work for him and Fred in a joke shop. That's not my dream that's theirs and I don't want everything I do to be about him." Scarlett vented before Hannah could reply not interested in anything she had to say. Hannah got the hint and got up to leave the two girls to talk.
"Do you want logic or support?" Bianca asked cautiously
"Support right now. Give me 5 mins then I'll be open to logic."
"Okay. Of course you don't want to work for them. It's silly for him to assume you would want to when you've never shown any interest in pranks, jokes or selling."
"Right! I'm starting to get it but to spend every day working in a shop filled with skiving snack boxes and portable swaps, that's not something that appeals to me."
The girls spent a good 5 minutes venting, making sure Scarlett got everything off her chest. Once she was feeling calmer and more level headed she stopped the venting session
