Chapter 48

The alarm went off causing both Scarlett and George to groan at the sudden disturbance. Scarlett lifted her head off Georges chest sluggishly, pushing George's arm off her as she got up to turn the alarm off. She gave George a quick kiss before getting out of bed with a stretch and started to get ready. George groaned as he stretched out in bed before he sat up to follow her.

"Georgie, it's 6:30, you don't open the store till 9. Stay in bed, sleep some more."

"If you're awake, I'm awake love. Especially on your first day."

He walked over to the wardrobe where she was picking out her clothes for the day and wrapped her in a hug leaning his head on top of hers as she leaned against him feeling her nerves dissipate from his loving embrace.

"I love you George. I'm going to miss you."

"I'll have dinner waiting for you when you get back and you can tell me all about your day. Then we'll come back here, I'll give you a massage and then I'll show you how much I love you on that bed." George said kissing down her neck.

"You sure know how to make a woman happy."

"Making you happy is all I care about."

Scarlett turned and pulled him into a passionate kiss their tongues dancing in unison as the two wrapped themselves around each other desperate to be closer to each other. George pressed her against the wardrobe door as Scarlett wrapped her legs around his waist and slid her hands up his toned bare chest feeling every muscle tense then relax at her touch. Scarlett kissed down his neck and chest enjoying the low moans he made with each kiss she tried going further down to his boxers when George's hand wrapped around her chin and pulled her face back to him

"As much as I love where you're going with this. You need to get ready. I'll make you breakfast."

"When did you become Mr Sensible? Actually...don't bother answering that..."

George pulled her into a tight hug "I might be sensible now but don't think for a second I'm not going to ravish you when you get back. I just know this is too important for you to be late." He let go of her kissing her forehead before walking out and continuing "In a few weeks once you've settled and you're the best in your training programme I'll make you late for all the right reasons." He winked before shutting the bedroom door sending shivers up her spine as she got ready.

She put a pair of navy skinny jeans on with a loose white blouse and tied her hair up in a high ponytail, pulling out the front pieces of her hair to frame her face then she took the brooch George had got her for her 17th birthday. Her last happy birthday with Cedric and the first time George had given her a glimpse of the man he truly was. She ran her fingers over the brooch while taking a last look at herself in the mirror then slipped on her trainers and made her way to the kitchen.

"Cup of tea, bacon sandwich and a bowl of strawberries with yogurt for my little bird."

"You are the best Georgie." She kissed his cheek before sitting down and eating

"How are the nerves?"

"They're there, but I'm feeling excited as well. Andrew said Bianca is going to be starting her healer training today as well so hopefully I'll be able to reconnect with her again."

"That will be good, you two were nearly as inseparable as me and Fred."

"I just hope she'll forgive me for not writing."

"I have no doubt she will."

Scarlett finished her breakfast grabbed her jacket and gave George a hug and kiss goodbye. Fred sleepily walked into living room as they were kissing
