Scarlett entered her room emotionally exhausted. She had never gone through so many emotions in a day especially on Christmas day, all her previous Christmas' had been filled with joy and laughter, today had been the opposite. As she collapsed on her bed letting the exhaustion overwhelm her body she let a few tears fall.

George walked into her room a few minutes later and watched her lying on the bed. He saw two tear drops fall from her cheek. He'd seen her cry more times than he could count and it hurt him every time. As he sat on the bed next to her. She slowly opened her eyes.

"Stay with me tonight" It wasn't a demand, but it wasn't a question either. George pulled her close to him and gently caressed her face

"Of course my little bird."

They lay down in her bed, George holding Scarlett tightly. They didn't speak, they just lay in silence, enjoying being alone with each other after months of being close but apart it was comforting to just be with each other. Their eyes began to feel heavy and they started to drift off to sleep holding each other.

Fred knocked on Scarlett's door hoping to find George so they could spend the evening finalising products and paperwork for the shop and apartment. He got no response

"It's been an hour since you guys got back from St Mungos, I'm bored. Let me hang out with you guys." he complained as he knocked a little harder.

Scarlett and George woke up to Freds voice. Scarlett stretched out waking herself up feeling the most refreshed she had in a while. She turned to George who had a giant grin on his face "I can't wait to wake up to you every morning."

Causing her to blush, she wrapped her arms around him and kissed him "That's the best sleep I've had in a long time."

"We'll figure out a way to sneak you into the Gryffindor common room and then you can sleep in my arms when we go back to Hogwarts."

"Guys I can hear you. I'm giving you a minute to get decent then I'm coming in." Fred shouted from the other side of the door. Before Scarlett could respond he walked in a minute later

"I know you guys can't keep your hands off each other but I'm bored, entertain me."

"Sorry, we fell asleep." Scarlett replied as she sat up in bed as George stretched out.

"It's only 7, don't tell me you guys are gonna start acting like an old married couple."

"Your whining all day tired us out." George retorted as he sat up

"I don't whine."

"Everytime I've seen you today you've whined about something. Freddie you're a whiner."

The 3 of them hung out in Scarletts room for a while making jokes, talking about the boys plans for the shop and their products. Scarlett was shocked when she found out Harry had given his winnings from the Triwizard tournament to them to help them build the business. She taught them how she created the charm on the hat and they brainstormed names for the product. Hours passed by and none of them noticed until Fred let out a loud yawn that made Scarlett look at the clock

"No way, it's 10!" she said stunned

"I better head to my room for the night. Thanks for the amazing present. Let me know if this silly sod doesn't treat you right, I'll knock some sense into him."

Fred stood up and headed for the door but not before giving Scarlett a tight hug and George a smirk and quick wink as he shut the door behind him.

"You can now open your present little bird."

George pulled her up and they walked to the desk where her present was left that morning. Scarletts face lit up as they walked over, excited for her present but before she opened it she opened the drawer of the desk to reveal a small present. She picked it up and handed it to George.
