Lily sat in a chair that was near the metal table that Scott laid upon. He still hadn't woken up despite his wounds having been fixed and healed most of the way. Lily kept her eyes on the werewolf as Deaton looked at her arm. The girl had been so caught up in getting Scott out of there, she hadn't realized she been hit. "Is he going to be okay?" She asked.
Deaton taped up the gaze that wrapped her forearm before getting up. He walked over to the skin and poured a glass of water. "He's going to be okay." Deaton answered and handed her the cup. Lily drank the cold water, it feeling great against her raw, dry throat. "The better question is if you are."
Lily meet his eyes. "I don't know." she admitted. Lily shook her head and leaned against her elbows that rested on her knees. "I thought I knew everything that was a lie in my life, but more just keeps coming. She knew I'd come here because this is where I was born. I always thought I was born and raised in Carson. Turns out it was here in Beacon Hills. That's why I was drawn here."
"I never knew what brought me here to this town. I had just started walking one day, and I ended up here. Ten years of my life was spent here, and I didn't even know it."
Lily let out a shaky breath and shook her head. "She replaced my memories. Took away my childhood. Made me forget people that I loved and cared about. She took parts of who I was. She made me a horrible person. How would those people not remember me?" Lily looked up at Deaton with red eyes.
"They didn't know you as Lily Carter. They knew you and her mother as your real names. Katherine and Elizabeth Carter." Deaton answered.
"What about my dad?"
Lily wished she had never asked the questioned. The one she got would change the rest of her life. It took every memory, every thought, and destroyed it. The one thing she always counted would be real was the fact of who her parents were. But now, she just felt like she buried under rumble and each time she'd get close to getting out, something else would fall on top of her, sending her deeper and deeper underneath.
"Her father isn't Kent, Lily. Not your biological father."
Her eyes watered as she fell to the ground. Deaton pulled her into his arms as she remember something that was long forgotten to her. Flashes of memories went across her eyes. She shook her head. She remember the hugs, the kisses, the love. "He can't be." She refused. "He would have know who I am, which means...he didn't care." A tear slid down her face as Deaton held her. "He's tried to kill Scott. Derek. People I care about. Without a blink of an eye."
