Lily gasped as she felt herself being submerged underneath the freezing cold water once again. She coughed out the water that had entered her throat as she brought her head above the water. She heard a rush of several footsteps as they ran into the backroom. She moved her water hair from her face and looked up to see Jake and Denton standing before her.

"Are you okay?" Jake asked, pulling her out of the tub. Deaton handed him a towel, which he wrapped around Lily's shoulders and pulled it tight.

She looked up at him with her teeth chattering from the cold warmth of her body. A smile slowly appeared on her face as she saw him. Her arms threw themselves around his shoulders and he pulled her close.

"You're here."

He rested his head on top of hers and nodded. "I promised you I would be." He replied. Jake felt her shivering stop as warmth reentered her body. He kissed the top of her head and pulled back enough to see her face. "I'm so sorry." He apologized.

She shook her head, tears welling in her eyes. "You have nothing to apologize for. I remember now. I remember everything. I know everything you have ever done was to protect me. Your whole life has been spent protecting me. There is nothing for you to be sorry about." She announced.

She squeezed him in the hug one last time before pulling away. Her hand stayed resting on his arm as she locked eyes with him. He nodded. "Everything's ready." He remarked. "Isaac did everything I asked of him."

"Now we just have to hope that mom's plan works."

Jake grabbed his sister's hand from his arm and squeezed it. He opened his mouth to reply, but Deaton, who had been standing quietly off to the side, beat Jake to it. "Everything will work out just fine. Your mother and I ensured that nothing could go wrong with this plan. Plus, I've had sixteen years to work out any problems that may arise." He assured.

Lily's eyes snapped over to the vet and a thankful smile appeared on her face. "Back in the woods, why did you warn me? You said that I might remember things that I didn't even realize were things I'd remember. You said I would have a choice that could result in me not coming back. I wasn't supposed to know any of that, so why did you tell my any of that?" Lily questioned.

He smiled at the teenager. "You made the decisions that you made four months ago. A lot has happened since then. Even if you don't remember things in those four months, you deserved the option to choose differently. You deserved to know that you could die by going under."
