Lily walked toward the field at the high school as she spotted Allison arriving at the school. Allison waved at the girl and Lily smiled. "Hey," Lily greeted as she walked over to the girl. "What are you doing here?"
Allison closed her car door and threw her backpack over her shoulder. "You mentioned that you had to be here, so I thought why not come keep you some company." Lily chuckled and shook her head.
"You didn't need to come."
"What are friends for?" Allison stated. The two girls walked side by side towards the school. "So how's everything going?" Lily glanced up at the girl and shrugged.
"Good I guess. Stiles and Noah have been great. They're both understanding and nice." Lily answered. Allison nodded. She pressed her lips together and rose an eyebrow. Lily got the message and nodded. "You mean Scott?"
"You forgave him for the party. Has anything happened since?" Allison questioned.
Lily laughed. "What could have? I've only know him for what maybe a week." She noted. Allison tilted her head, and Lily rolled her eyes. "We've been texting and obviously he's been at the house. He understands that I've been through a lot. He respects that. I'm not rushing into anything. I want to become good friends and maybe it could lead somewhere."
"Sure..." Allison dragged out.
Lily shook her head. The two girls giggled as they walked onto the lacrosse field. They made their way onto the bleachers and found a spot halfway up. Lily shivered at the coldness in the air. She pulled her jacket closer around her body. She found it hard to always stay still on metal bleachers. They were always cold and would end up hurting her butt. Allison chuckled as the girl pulled out a spare jacket and sat on it.
"Don't laugh." Lily snapped. "I have a sensitive butt." She whispered.
Allison giggled as the lacrosse players began to ran out onto the field. She noticed Stiles make his way to the bench and Lily sighed. She felt bad for the guy. He couldn't be that bad to be a bench warmer.
Lily watched as the players began lining up to shoot at the net. Each player scored with ease until Scott stood up. He was distracted. Coach seemed to notice Scott's odd behavior also. "McCall? What are you waiting for? Go!" Coach shouted.
Scott heard the man and began running, but he was much slower than usual. Jackson sprinted toward the boy, and the two collided sending Scott to the ground. Lily cringed and let out a sigh. A loud thud echoed through the field from Scott hitting the ground. Scott let out a deep breath and slowly stood up.
