"My brother use to say that I had a destiny. That every person has a reason for why they're alive. He said mine was to change the world and help those that had been cursed to forever live in darkness. For some their destiny is create evil that others have to destroy. I remember thinking he was crazy and just grieving are parents' deaths. But, now..."

"Since arriving in Beacon Hills, things have change, and I think he was right. Each person has a thing to accomplish in their life."

"Are you saying that you think Matt's destiny was to kill?"

"No, I think Matt's purpose was showing what hatred can do to someone. He hated what those people did to him and in return he turned into them. Seeing what that does, showed me that my hatred for whoever killed my parents could make me be just like them. I don't want that. I've been afraid the past couple of weeks that I was becoming like them. Letting my emotions run wild."

"But, now?"

"Now, I want to fight to make sure I don't become that." She paused. Her hands running down her thighs. Morrell tilted her head at the girl, she saw the pain in the teenager's eyes.

"It's okay to feel sorry for Matt."

"I don't feel sorry for him dying." She corrected, shaking her head at the accusation. "I feel sorry that he couldn't forgive those for what they had done." She licked her lips, thinking of her words. "After they died, I have been filled with rage and not wanting to forgive. I've seen how Allison is now with her mom dead and becoming closer with Chris. It...."

She wiped tears that had fallen from her eyes before meeting Morrell's, "I want to forgive those that have hurt me, but it's hard. They left me with no family, and now I'm meant to forgive and forget. You can't do that, but you can't let it take over your life either."

She hadn't seen Allison since that night in the station, but she knew that she was out for vengeance. Vengeance for Derek. For him biting her mother and making her kill herself. Lily hated seeing her like this. Allison had let that anger consume her. Anger that Lily herself was holding back.

"I've been given a chance at a second family, and I've been pushing it way because I was mad. Being in that station showed me that life is short and you can't let yourself not live because something has gotten in the way."

"I'm mad. I'm mad that my parents left me, and then my brother did. I'm furious that someone killed them. That people thought I did it. I am raged that Chris knew who I was. Knew I was his daughter and left me to fend for myself. I am mad, but I am tired of being mad. I just want a family." Lily let tears fall from her eyes and down her cheeks.
