Air filled her throat as she along with three others burst from the water, all of them gasping for air like it hadn't been granted to them in years. Which to be honest, could have been possible because it felt as if their sense of time was gone. It had felt as if they had been gone for hours, but there was no way of knowing if she was right.

She met the eyes of the others before each of them slowly pushed themselves up and out of the ice-cold baths they had been drowned in. Water dripped down her skin to the ground, making a light noise as it connected with the tile flooring of the bright white of nothingness.

Each one of them settled their gaze on the Nemeton that was several feet ahead of them. They exchanged looks before taking slow strides over to the tree stump. As they approached the tree, their eyes focused on an object that was behind the tree. Three of them didn't understand what the dark nothingness was doing there, but one person did.

Lily shuffled around the Nemeton to stand on the opposite side of where Allison, Stiles, and Scott were. She glanced over her shoulder to meet their eyes. Scott's eyes were flickering between the door and Lily as he tried to decipher what this meant for her. They locked eyes before Lily looked away to stare at the door.

The darkness of it made her eyes water; she had to blink several times to try and keep her focus on it. She hadn't even noticed until now that the door was marked with a white doorknob. It was screaming at her to open it, but Lily questioned as she stood there if she should truly open the door or not. There was no way of knowing what would come from this action, but if she wanted to know what she needed to, then she would have to open the door.

So that's why she completed the action of opening the door. The first thing that she felt when she walked through was the freezing cold. Her feet hit the other side of the door and she dropped. Her breath materialized in front of her as she examined her surroundings.

Lily spun around in a fright when the door slammed behind her. She jumped backwards only to fall onto her back. She groaned at the pain. She squeezed her eyes shut for a second before turning onto her knees. The second she opened them, she was met with the sight of bright crimson eyes. She scrambled on her feet, but the creature stayed in its spot.

Lily realized that it hadn't been looking at her current self, but at herself that had been walking through the Beacon Hills preserve almost a year ago. She watched as Peter's past self-lunged towards her, sending herself into a sprint away from him. She had only made it a couple feet before she was dragged to the ground and forced to look the creature straight in the eyes.
