Lily strolled through the halls of Beacon Hills high toward her next class of the day. Her heals were clanking against the marble face. She had her books pressed against her chest. She came to a stop as Derek appeared in front of her with his arms crossed over his shoulder. She looked down as she approached him. She grabbed a hold his arm, dragging him into an empty classroom.
"What are you doing here?" She questioned.
"Surprisingly, Stiles told me about last night. I wanted to see how you were doing?"
Lily set her books down on a table and pushed herself up to set on top of it. She pushed a piece of hair out of her face before she looked at Derek. "I'm doing alright." She answered. Derek raised an eyebrow. Lily sighed as she looked at the ground. "I almost died last night because of remembering something."
"What was the memory about, Lily?"
She meet his eyes and that's when he saw the anger inside them. "Deaton told me what Kent did, but I guess never really understood it. Until now. He made her drink my blood. He was turning her back into a monster. A monster she fought so hard to get rid of."
"If it wasn't for Jake, who knows what would've happened. He fought against him and took me away. In fact, he had Argent take me away." Lily paused as she fidgeted with her fingers. "When Deaton told me a lot about what surrounded my family. He mentioned that my mother entrusted Peter to..."
Derek furrowed his eyebrows as he stepped closer to the girl. "Peter? As far as I can remember, your mother never trusted him. For good reason."
"Well, apparently she did because she asked him to poison, Derek. That if she ever got out of hand, he would slowly kill her. And that's exactly what he did expect Kent found it counteract it. With my blood." Lily explained. Derek crossed his arms over his chest as he stared at her. "Did he ever say anything about my mother? Anything that could help me? He had to have left something?"
Derek shook his head. "Peter did write things down to remember. He held it all in his head. He said that safest place for any secrets were in your own head." He stated. He bite the inside of his cheek as he tried to recall anything. "He never mentioned anything about your family. The best I can remember my mother, him, and hers always meeting at random times. They'd leave for hours and return like nothing happen. I didn't think anything of it back then, but maybe it has something to do with you."
Lily nodded, running a hand through her hair. "You were right." She stated. Derek looked at her confused. "About the memories how it could kill me. Scott said my heart stopped for almost two minutes before Allison got it to go again."
