It was demonic.
What was insider her, and she didn't even really know what it was. The Apocalypse was inspiring inside of her. Lily had a choice to stop it from escaping. But it was at what cost that hunted her. She had learned a lot about her family in the past several months. She learned about the supernatural.
The most constant thing she was learning was there was always a cost. A cost that no one would really want to pay, but in the end they always would. You had weigh want you wanted versus what would happen. In the world of supernatural creatures, the price wasn't nearly as much as the prize.
In Lily's case though, she knew that she would eventually, even if it was years from now, pay a price that would have a great reward, but it was price she knew she couldn't come back from. She had a demon inside of her. It was something that was gonna corrupt her.
It's her job to stop from escaping even if that means paying the ultimate price.
Lily's head laid against the cold, icy feeling of the window in Allison's car. She watched as the tall shrewd trees of the forest passed by them. Her eyes begged to focus on the trees, but her mind wanted to pull the bloodcurdling darkness out from under. It was almost a sharp dunk feeling that began to develop. It had become more noticeable and intolerable in the past weeks. She was vigilant with the creation inside.
Whatever was becoming, it was inhabiting her actions and darkest secrets. It was a meticulous play. One she knew Alicia had something to do with. Alicia was breaking the humanity that she was born with and crushing the sanity that Lily played with by letting her loyalty and urge for answers be her end. It was prefect plan, one Lily didn't know how to beat.
She could practically feel the doubt flooding the vehicle as she crossed her arms over her chest and looked to Allison, who was in the driver's seat. It was emotional in less words between the sisters. Lily was civil and considerate with how Allison must feel, but for Lily she had to be careful.
She had grown up with her brother, loving him and thinking all was prefect; that disintegrated the moment he died and the truth came to light. To find out that she had another sibling, Lily was more than hesitant to let walls down for the archer. There was nothing to ensure that she wouldn't get hurt again. If it happened again, that time around it wouldn't be the caring spirted girl that she was now that would come out on the other side. It would be a person that shouldn't live. Destruction and terror that would occur.
