Unknown ~ 1620s
She walked through the crowds in the town centered. People bowed at her as she passed by them. She wore a smile as bright as day, and her hair glowed in the sunlight. Her shoes clicked along the bricks as she strolled down the town center and to their secret spot. She ran through the trees to the out cove. The waterfall glistened in front of her and animals drank from the pond. The figure she was looking for sat before her on a bench.
"Scott?"
He turned around to meet the beautiful girls blue eyes that stared back at his brown ones. She smiled and sat next to the man. "Sage, you look amazing as ever," He greeted. She blushed at his words and shrugged. "We aren't supposed to meet for another day. What's happened?" Her smile fell as she looked at her forbidden lover.
"I've kept something from you." She admitted. Scott scrunched his eyebrows at the beauty, nodding for her to explain. "I was scared of what you would think of me afterwards."
"I could never look at you different. No matter what it is," He assured.
She smiled, nodding. Her hands slid into the man's, and she looked away. Her breaths were deep as she closed her eyes. The man jumped away from her grip frightened by the transformation before him. Her hair was becoming blonde and the blue eyes that had stared back at him before were now purple. His mouth was apart as he looked at his lover in horror.
"What are you?"
"Don't be scared. I was born like this. It's a curse put on me a long time ago." She explained. "When I found out, I thought that the lady was wrong. That I could still love with this horrible monster inside me." Scott shook his head at the girl. He stood up and stumbled away. "I won't hurt you. I love you." She assured.
"What are you talking about?" He hissed. "You're a monster. I would never love you. Is Sage even your real name?"
"It was the name I was born with in this life."
"This life?" He scoffed.
Scott shook his head and ran away from the girl. She screamed from him to stop. That she wouldn't hurt him, but he continued on letting the fear of her appearance consume him.
The two made it back to the town center with Scott screaming that she was monster. The towns' people saw her appearance and charged at her with weapons.Tears fell from her eyes as the love of her life turned against her and wanted her dead. She struggled against the people.
