"Hey,"
Lily looked up at the of Allison's voice. She smiled weakly as her sister walked into her room at the Argent apartment. Allison fumbled with her fingers while she sat beside Lily on the bed.
"We haven't talked much since you were, uh, found. I wanted to apologize for that. It's just I've felt..."
"Guilty," Lily finished. Allison nodded at her statement. Lily sighed, grabbed a hole of her sisters hand. "It's not your fault. There was no way you could have known I was gone. They sent you those messages to make it seem I was fine. They were smart."
Lily smiled at her older sibling and she returned the gesture. Allison's smile fell as her mind flickered to something else. Lily could tell what she was about to say and beat her to it. "I won't tell anyone you were there. Especially not Chris."
"Thanks."
"What are sisters for?"
"I should be the one comforting you, not the other way around. Dad told me about the little—"
"Breakdown?"
Allison nodded. Lily's eyes fell to the blanket covering her legs. Allison squeezes Lily's hand causing her to meet the brunettes eyes.
"I know you guys want me to talk about it, but I can't. It's not something I can just talk about weeks after it's happened. Right now i need time to feel safe again. Every breath, every step I take I don't know if the next one is going to end with being taken again."
"I'll be here when you're ready."
Lily nodded, smiling. Allison reaches forward, pulling the younger of the two into a hug. Lily returned the embrace, pulling her close. Allison could feel the difference in Lily. She wasn't the same person that was more than evident.
Allison pulled away and pressed her lips into a thin line. "So do you know when you'll go back to school?" She questioned.
Lily shrugged. "Honestly, I have no idea. Neither Chris or Noah want me going until I feel ready, which I don't know when that'll be."
"I get it. They're vultures that'll eat you up."
Lily chuckled. "I guess words gotten around."
"Yeah, people think your the new wack job instead of Lydia." Allison stares. She tilted her head to the side as she thought about it. "Which you kinda are."
