"THEY PICKED UP HER SCENT."
"We agreed to give each other the summer. No texts. No calls," Scott explained. "She need to figure things out."The two best friends sat at a stop light on the outskirts of Beacon Hills. This was the first time either of them had brought up the certain girl. When she had left four months ago, they both felt like they lost a part of their selves. Stiles had minimal contact with her, but Scott hadn't had any.
Scott had texted her several weeks after she left to see how see was doing and got the reply that she didn't want to hear from me. He understood and respected her choice. Lily had her life turned upside in the few months since she arrived in Beacon Hills.
The girl had found out she was a supernatural creature. Her mother had erased her memory to protect her. She was supposed to break a curse that surrounded an entire race. A race that she had let out of some kind of prison in a past life because she was force to relive her life over and over again. She had found a second cousin that was now an alpha werewolf after her slashed his uncle throat. Side uncle having killed several people for revenge against hunters burning the Hale family alive. He also was the one who turned her now ex-boyfriend into a werewolf. She had also found her long lost sister and the father that abandoned. She had blacked out multiple times and killed three people because of it.
So Scott understood that the girl would need time away from him and Beacon Hills. All the place had ever done to her was hurt her. He honestly didn't know if it would be best for her to return. He wanted her to, but he also wanted her to happy and safe.
"So then how do you know she won't be back at school then?" Stiles questioned. His eyes caught something in the car beside his blue Jeep. He recognized the two girls that sat in the smaller vehicle. One of which was the sister of Lily, which would be odd for her to return and not Lily.
"After everything that occurred in these past seven months, I wouldn't blame her if she never came back at all." The werewolf admitted.
Stiles shook his head as he kept his eyes on the two girls in the car. "I think she is." He announced. "I'd say pretty definite, you know? Like one hundred percent."
Stiles nodded in the direction of the car. Scott followed his gaze, and his eyes widened at the sight of Allison. He glanced back at Stiles and then to the car. He squinted his eyes attempting to see Lily in the back. That was pretty impossible with the windows being tinted. They only reason they could see the two in the front was because the driver window was rolled down.
Allison looked over and locked eyes with Scott. Her eyes rounded and turned away. "Oh god, oh god, oh god." Allison mumbled. "I can't talk to him. Lily made me promise me not to tell him. You need to go."
