"Yummmmmmm," you groaned as Aston handed you your hot chocolate with mini marshmallows and whipped cream. "You really are the best," you smiled at his across the kitchen counter top. "Let me just find a shirt from you to put on," he said walking away to what you assumed must be his bed room. "Try not to stare at my ass as I walk away," he joked. "It's not even that perky," you mocked back making his chuckle. Sipping on your hot chocolate you looked around his apartment what was kitted out to the max. He had every game, every movie, every gadget imaginable. It was like something out of James Bond. Ashton strolled back in with a t-shirt in hand wearing a clean pair of jeans but no top. "Admiring my place?" He questioned throwing the top at you. "Maybe," you replied not trying to give away how impress you were. Jumping off the stool you stood up putting the top on over you head. It was a dark grey Green Day one - typical. As your head piped through the head while you saw Ashton looking at you. "Admiring?" You mocked. "Maybe," he replied smirking. "You know it's weird. I don't feel like you've been away at all. We act like we use to with each other," you said out of the blue. "Yeah, we do," Ashton said. "Why wouldn't we?" He asked. "I don't know you've been so successful I thought maybe it's got to that curly haired little head of yours," you chuckled trying not to stare at his abba too much. "And how about you working for a big music magazine," he said. "I don't know if I still am," you replied. "I can make some calls," he smirked. Before you could protest he added "is your favourite film still ten things I hate about you?" He asked. "Yes," you replied. "Great," he said sitting on his light grey sofa. Picking up your mug you went to join him. A few clicks of the remote later and it began to play. You smiled and laughed through the film as Ashton made funny comments as usual. It was weird how close you and Ashton still were after all this time apart but you weren't going to complain. After all, he was your best friend. Just as your favourite scene ended (the one where Patric and Cat are pain balling) Ashton shifted and then said. "Did you ever thing about me?" With a sincere tone. "Of course I did. I never stopped. You were my best friend and you were in every magazine we ever did. How could I not," you replied looking at him. "Did you ever thing about me?" You asked. "Everyday. Who do you think half the songs are about?" He said. You never thought of it like that. "I thought you'd found another girl," you admitted. It was true you always thought he'd be sleeping with a different supermodel every night. "Disconnected? Heartbreak girl? Everything I didn't say? Y/N it was pretty obvious," he said still looking at you. "Y/N," he said in a low tone. "Ashton," you replied. "I'm still in love you with," he admitted. You stomached fluttered with butterfly's and your heart ached with glee. "I'm still in love with you to." You admitted smiling like the Cheshire Cat. He smiled the biggest smile before kissing you.
