Today was one of the rare days you treasured, a day that Luke was home. Luke had come back from the boys latest headline tour in America. They had 9 days before they were getting shipped off to china to do promotion over there. You loved when Luke came back because he made sure he spent as much time with you as he could. He always did special little gestures and surprises to make sure you knew how much he loved you.
"Y/N" Luke called from your bathroom. "Have you seen the rain?” You and Luke had planned a romantic picnic in the park overlooking the city. That was definably not going to happen today, you thought as you made your way towards the window. It was bucketing down outside, even a step outside would put you ill in bed with a cold.
"Well guess we have a change of plan." You called back. You felt a strong, warm set of arms wrap around your waist.
"You know what this means?...we can make a fort and watch movies all day." Luke said kissing you cheek.
"That sounds like an amazing idea. The question we face is...pizza or Chinese?" You reply, turning to face your giant, blonde, rock star of a boyfriend. His blue eyes looking down at you, filled with awe.
"That is the question. Pizza? It'll be easier to eat in our fort." He smiled. "Last one to the living room has to get the popcorn!" Luke screamed throwing you onto the bed before running out of the room laughing. All you could hear was Luke fumbling around the house trying to get to the living room before you.
You were in the hallway when you hear Luke shout with victory. You chuckled to yourself, Luke always manage to make you smile.
"Babe, can we please watch the purge?" Luke called.
"Alright but then you're gonna have to watch Angus thongs and perfect snogging" You shouted from the kitchen as you began to make the popcorn.
"I think that is a deal. The fort is nearly ready"
"Jezz Luke, how fast do you build those things?"
"Me and Calum have races on tour; my skills on fort making have improved dramatically." You walked into the living room where there was a massive blanket and pillow fort coving the majority of the room. The only evidence of Luke was the fact his toes poked out of the end. You handed Luke the popcorn before crawling in and snuggling down. "Let it begin." Luke said with, what he intended to be, an evil laugh.
