Third Person P.O.V.

Once upon a time, there was a princess, from a kingdom, called Mewni. Her name was, Star Butterfly. But, she was a bit different from other princesses. Other princesses, of course, were poised and elegant, whereas Star Butterfly was a bit.. Clumsy. Other princesses were perfect, when drinking tea, their pinkies at a perfect 90-degree angle. But Star, she was.. Rather reckless..

She never really had anyone in mind, she was often kept in the palace, with nothing to do. But, aside from this, when her parents were not around, probably having a meeting, Star would climb out the window, rather irresponsibly and play with her best friend, a peasant, named Marco Ubaldo Diaz. Marco was a simple blacksmith, just making weapons for others. His life was simple. Until he met the princess.

How they met was very unexpected. A young, 6-year-old Star Butterfly, sneaked out of the palace to run around in the woods, hunting for unicorns or monsters. (Which actually didn't exist.) She didn't notice that she was losing sight of the palace, and by now, was very deep in the woods. "Mom? Daddy..?" Her little blue eyes darted for civilization, but found none. An unfamiliar feeling, crept unto her. Fear.

Her little blue eyes started to leak out tears, as her happy face turned into a frown. She sat down and hugged her knees, hoping this was all a bad dream. "Hey, you okay?" A small voice interrupted her sobbing. When the little princess looked up, he saw a boy, about his age, with messy brown hair, brown chestnut eyes, a mole on his right cheek, wearing a white shirt, with a brown cloak, leather pants, along with leather boots.

"W-w-who are you?" Star sniffed, wiping away her tears. "I'm Marco. Marco Diaz. Now, what seems to be the problem?" Star seemed to trust the boy. "I-i-i'm lost.. I'm supposed to get back to t-the palace.." She said. "You're from the palace? Cool! So you're a princess? Wow! Is it nice there?" Marco's questions went on and on. "I can't get back from the palace! I told you i'm lost!" the poor princess sobbed more.

Marco's grin seemed to grow. "Don't worry, princess! I know the way to my house! We can stay there until your parents come back for you! I just live in the village!" Star's sadness seemed to fade. "Really? Thanks!" Her cheerfulness seemed to return. The sudden skulls plastered on her cheeks changed into hearts. She stood up from the stump she was leaning on, and skipped ahead of Marco.

But now, enough with the past. It's time to focus on the present. As Star walked into the woods, using the same path she sued almost everyday to get to Marco, she thought about the simple blacksmith. His messy brown hair, his cute little mole, his brown eyes. Practically everything about him. She was not sure whether she thought of Marco as something more than a friend. Her hearts turned a lighter shade of pink.

"Geez, What took you so long, Star?" Marco's voice suddenly erupted. Star jumped. "Oh my gosh, Marco! Don't scare me like that! We're in the woods for Mewni's sake!" She half-giggled, half-shrieked. Marco chuckled. "Come on, let's get home before Mom suspects anything." So for the whole day, at Marco's house, Star and Marco did fun activities, sometimes watching Marco and his dad work, or going into the woods, to hunt for 'monsters'.

It was dusk by now, and Marco and Star were lazily sitting down on the rocking chair together. The door knocked suddenly. "I'll get it.." Star mumbled sleepily. She opened the door, and suddenly gasped. For it was not Marco's father, it was her parents, looking very mad. She squeaked. "Mom! Dad..! Whaat.. a p-pleasant s-surprise.." She stammered. "Posa, is something wrong?" Marco's voice, sounding husky, due to sleepiness, said. His eyes suddenly widened at the sight of the queen and king.

Star was frozen in place. "Star.. What are you doing here.. with this.. peasant boy?" Queen Butterfly's voice was laced with disgust. "M-mom! I-i was j-just.." Queen Butterfly's voice boomed. "STAR BUTTERFLY! THERE WERE SUITORS DOWN! THEY'VE BEEN WAITING FOR HOURS! COULDN'T YOU SEE HOW EMBARRASSED ME AND YOUR FATHER WERE!?" Queen butterfly shrieked. Star bowed her head in shame.

"AND YOU! Y-YOU PEASANT! STAY AWAY FROM OUR DAUGHTER!" She shrieked once more. Queen Butterfly yanked Star's arm, with Star's eyes looking pleadingly into Marco's. Marco could just stare in shock, trying to comprehend what happened. The queen and king knocked into his door and took Star Butterfly, his best friend, away. the door opened once more, but it wasn't the queen and king.

It was Star And Marco's parents. "Marco.. We saw the queen and king yank Star away, going to the palace.." Marco's father said, with a stern tone in his voice. Marco gulped. This is going to be hard.
