One Shot #20: Two Stars?! [Part Two]

Marco's P.O.V.

Two. Freaking. Stars. Great. As if the world couldn't even handle one Star, more so two.
"Well then," I began awkwardly. There was a silence that pooled in between between the three of us.
"I can explain," The Star to the right blurted out. I sat down a bean bag cushion, only to jump back up and yelp painfully, noticing that the cushion had a mouth, and sharp teeth which bit my butt. One of the Star's glared at me as she rolled her eyes and scoffed, while the other Star started laughing hysterically. "'Gee, thanks for the help. Now, care to explain?" I grumbled. "Of course, Marco! You see,-" The Star to the right was harshly cut off by the Star to the left. "Oh, shut up. You were never good at explaining things. Anyway, what really happened was that, Star, well, us, while practicing spells,-" This time, it was the Star from the left's turn to be cut off. "Star was split into her two personalities!" The Star from the right finished cheerily. I can barely imagine Star acting like the Star on the left. "But I never see Star acting like you," I said, gesturing to the Star from the left. She flipped her hair and stuck her nose up, as if she were thinking my IQ was equivalent to a peasant's. "So.. Care to tell me anything I don't know about Star yet?" And with that, me and the two Star's spent hours on talking about Star's deepest secrets. I'm not sure whether to feel guilty for letting them tell me her secrets, or betrayed since she never told me in the first place.
"Oh, I have a good secret! It was when Star found out that Tom cheated on her!" The giddy Star chimed. Tom cheated on Star? No wonder she hates that guy so much! The pessimistic Star nodded. "Tch, stupid Tom, should go die in a sewer. When Star found out, I was born. Every night she'd cry into her pillow, until she fell asleep." She added.  No wonder I always heard cries in the night.. "So, no more secrets?" I asked. The two Star's bit their lip. "Well.. There's a person she likes.." Giddy Star mumbled. I felt an empty feeling in the pit of my stomach. Of course, it's Oskar. "And if you're thinking, no, it's not Oskar." Pessimistic Star explained. They both took a deep breath.

"Star's in love with, M-"

The two were cut off when they turned a glowing white, and before I knew it, there was only one Star left.

"MARCO! I'M BACK!"

Well, I guess I'll never know who she really loves, but her by my side is enough for me. I smiled at Star.

"Welcome back."
