Third Person's P.O.V.

"Oh, come on, Marco, please join me for dance practice today! Pleeaaaseee?" Star begged, her bow bouncing and flowing from the wind. Marco dug his hands further into his blue hoodie pockets, walking along. "Please, Marco?" Star pleaded, holding her backpack, walking the same pace Marco was. The cinnamon-haired boy grumbled, then sighed, rubbing the temples of his head.

"Fine, fine, whatever. I'll go to your stupid dance practice."

"That's great, because we're already here!"

Marco stopped in his tracks, his face mere inches away from a lamp post. "You walked me all the way here. Without my consent." Marco stated bluntly, his eye twitching. When he looked to the place where the blonde was seconds before, she was gone. Marco grumbled, pinching the bridge of his nose. He adjusted his beanie, looked down, shoved his hands in his pockets, and stomped his way to the building, muttering incomprehensibly.

Marco sat on one of the benches, watching Star and her classmates listening to the lesson. Apparently they were learning tango. Marco rested his head on his hand, yawning. "Guess this isn't so bad," He muttered to himself, looking at Star. He couldn't help but smile softly, taking in all of Star's features and the little things she does. The dance instructor assigned partners, and Star was assigned to a boy named Caden.

Marco raised his eyebrow, searching for the name tag which would say Caden. When he finally spotted him, Caden was already sitting next to Star, offering her to dance. Caden was a boy with violet eyes and blonde, messy hair. "Tch. Pretty boy, Star would never like those kinds of guys," Marco mumbled distastefully. Unbeknownst to even him, he was jealous. Marco watched the two interact, and much to his annoyance, Star seemed to blush and or get flustered by any action Caden would make.

Caden stood up, and lended a hand to Star, who gladly took it, brushing profusely. This made Marco grit his teeth for a reason Marco didn't even know himself, as h ran his hands through his hair angrily. "So, are you ready, Miss Butterfly?" Caden asked, a charming grin that would make girls faint plastered onto his face. Star giggled, and quickly took the starting position. "Caden, I told you to call me Star, it's just Star," She reminded.

After most of the students performed their tango, they were free to go, but Caden and Star still stayed, which made Marco irritated. Caden couldn't get one of the moves right, so Star and he would have to practice it over and over. While dancing, out of nowhere, Caden grabbed a rose and placed it on his lips, pricking them. Apparently, only Marco noticed this, covering his mouth not to laugh or give out a snarky comment. Star, however, seemed oblivious to this, just gazing dreamily into his eyes.

Caden leaned in for a dip, about to kiss Star, until Star grabbed the rose and placed it between her teeth, smiling brightly. They continued practice for a couple of torturing minutes, much to Marc's dismay. When they finally finished, before Caden left, the blonde placed a kiss on Star's hand. "See you next Tuesday, Star." And with that, he left.

Marco sighed a breath of relief. It was finally over! However, his annoyance didn't seem to vanish. Star grabbed her water bottle and drank, grabbing her backpack and wand. "Hey, Marco, let's go home already!" She said, smiling at Marco. The cinnamon-haired boy didn't respond, but instead stood up. Star looked at him in curiosity. "What are you up t,-" Marco placed his hand on her waist, and one on her hand. "M-M-Marco?"

The boy just rolled his eyes, and kept his calm gaze and expression. "That guy was an amateur. Here's how a real professional dances." He declared, and he began to dance, leading Star. His movements were swift and smooth, and Star couldn't help but stare at him in awe. Her cheeks began to heat up, yet she didn't break eye contact with him. She let out a squeak of surprise when Marco twirled her around, her bow and hair swishing around. Marco grabbed the rose and placed it in between his teeth.

"The guy didn't place the rose in between his teeth, if you didn't notice, which got it pricked. What a rookie." He muttered, leaning in for a dip. Star was baffled. She was flustered. Her entire face was red, and her legs were turning to jelly. Marco noticed her staring, his ears turning red. He briefly looked away, furrowing his eyebrows. "S-Stop staring at me like that."

Star gulped, her legs were shaking so badly. So badly, that she fell into Marco, hugging him to keep from falling. Marco was caught off-guard by this, and stopped dancing.

"M-Maybe that's enough practice for today," Star shakily said, standing up again. Marco nodded, biting his cheek and placing his hands back into his pockets. "Y-Yeah. Anyway, that's how he was supposed to dance, so let's go." As they were walking home, they held hands, which they often did when they were in a particularly good mood.

"So, you coming to practice again soon?"

"What? Never."

"Aw, but you're so good at tango, Marco!"

"Never again. I was only teaching you."

"...I wouldn't mind if you'd dance with me a bit more often like that.."
