One Shot #36: Musical Butterflies

A/N: after 5 days here i give you a oneshot that has entirely no meaning at all :) also watching star on wheels and SU at the same time gives me life also i dont own the song try and guess where its from <3

It was around free time at Music period, the class had nothing to do. The teacher was out, most likely late. Star sighed, having nothing to do. She bit the inside of her cheek, trying to come up with something to cure her boredom. She suddenly widened her eyes, grabbing her pen and jotting down some lyrics. After a couple of minutes, she dropped the pen and smiled, reading the lyrics.

She passed them to Marco, who then chuckled due to the silliness of the lyrics. "Hey, Marco, get on the piano, I came up with some lyrics. Try and make a tune for me, will ya?" Star called out, grabbing Marco's ukulele.

Marco laughed, rolling his eyes. "Alright, alright, Star," tapped the piano keys softly, playing out a soft tune. Star in turn, strummed Marco's ukulele, playing out random chords.

The whole class started to perk up, their expressions brightening. "Hey, Star Butterfly and Marco Diaz are gonna sing!" Justin yelled enthusiastically, the other students cheering behind him. "The sun is bright, our shirts are clean, we're sitting up above the sea, come on and share this jam with me," Marco started, grinning.

"Peach or plum, or strawberry, any kind is fine you see come on and share this jam with me!," Star chimed in. The whole class clapped, beaming a bright smile, ready for more. Marco started to change and pick up his pace of playing, and so did Star. 

"I'll do my best, to give this jam the sweetness it deserves.." Star hummed, prolonging the word, 'deserves.' She leaned forward as she hummed, her eyes closed. Marco gazed at her, a sweet, lopsided smile on his face. 

"And I'll keep it fresh, I'm jammin' on these tasty preserves..." Marco played along, going in the same tune as the earlier verse. The two simultaneously played three notes, making the class go wild. 

"Ingredients in harmony, 

we mix together perfectly, 

come on and share this jam with me!" They both finished, Star pulling one of the strings as the last note, before the class erupted into cheers. "Whoo! Star Butterfly and Marco Diaz are awesome!" Justin exclaimed. "Indeed, Miss Butterfly, Sir Diaz, that was some synchronized playing. Did you practice?" Their heads turned to the music teacher, who seemed to have just arrived, smiling at Star and Marco. 

Star shook her head, smiling. "Nope, sir." 

"Yeah, Star just came up with some lyrics up on the spot and put me in charge for a random tune," Marco added, going back to his seat. The music teacher strolled to the desk, chuckling at the two. "Oh, really then, Mr. Diaz? You guys must trust and love each other a lot to be able to create such beautiful music on the spot."

Teasing "ooh's," filled the room, and Star and Marco just hid their faces. For the whole music class, the two mumbled and hummed lyrics and verses to the song they just created, smiling bashfully.
