Third Person's P.O.V.

It was a rainy night in the Diaz household. But this wasn't the original Diaz Househould. Marco, now thirty-two years of age, not really have changed much, aside from growing taller, went upstairs to check on the magic mirror. You see, he wasn't married to Jackie, like others thought, he was married to his very best friend, the once princess, now Queen of Mewni, Star Butterfly. "Kids! Sol, Mari, we're calling mom!" Marco called his kids, the twins, Sol Iel Diaz, and Mari Posa Diaz. The two little brunettes, only five years of age, came scrambling upstairs to their father. "Really!? We're calling mommy!? Yipee!" Mari let out a squeal of delight. "Let's hope Mommy comes home!" Sol grinned. "I hope so too," Marco mumbled. "Mirror, mirror, call Star," I said aloud, making sure the mirror heard. "Calling Star." It said. They were silent for a while, before they saw the picture of their mother in the mirror. "Mommy!" The two twins said in perfect sync. There was Star Butterfly, well, Star B. Diaz, the Queen of Mewni. Her hair was up in a messy bun, its crown in its place, she was still as energetic and bubbly as she was, years before. She was waving at the family vigorously. "HEY, MARCO, HEY KIDS!" She greeted happily. "MOMMY!" Sol shouted, overjoyed to see his mother. "Hi, Mommy!" Mari said, just as happy as her brother. Marco rolled his eyes, smiling at his kids' antics. "Hey, Star," He grinned warmly at his wife. "How's Mewni without their king?" Marco asked playfully. Star rolled her eyes. "Perfectly fine," She giggled. "Mommy, will you come home tonight?" Mari asked hopefully. Star bit her lip. "No, sorry, sweetie.. The paperwork has tripled in amount.." Star sighed. Marco's heart broke. Star has been away for six months, her duties as Queen pursuing her. Sol yawned sleepily. "Mommy, i'm going to bed. Good night, daddy." Sol rubbed his eyes before retreating to his bedroom, Mari following closely behind. Once they were out of sight, Marco exhaled a deep breath he didn't knew he held. Star frowned. "I'm sorry, Marco.." She apologized quietly. Marco just smiled softly. "How was your day at work..?" Star attempted a conversation. Marco's profession was that of a businessman. "Tiring.. Really, really tiring." Marco said, a bit exasperated. Star giggled. The conversations were now switching subjects, from casual things, to the personal stuff, you name it they talked about it.

Time Skip

It was two-thirty in the morning, and yet, the Mewnian Queen and her husband we're still awake and well. A creaking of the door broke their conversation. "Daddy.. Mommy.. I had a bad dream," out came Mari, rubbing her eyes as she cried. Then next came out Sol, sobbing. "D-Daddy, I had a n-nightmare t-too.." Sol stuttered, rushing over to his father. Both twins fled to their father for comfort, as Star could only see. Marco did the best he could to comfort his two crying children. "Hi, kids. Mommy loves you. I'm sorry I haven't come back. Mommy loves you dearly," Star tried to cheer up Sol and Mari. "Marco, I have to go. Bye, Love you," Star sighed. Marco just smiled at his Queen. "Love you Posa," Star giggled at the nickname. "Love you Safe Kid, bye kids. I love you." That was the last Star said before ending the call, leaving Marco with his kids. "Daddy.. Can you tell us a fairytale?" Mari asked softly. "Yeah, yeah, Daddy. A real one!" Sol's eyes sparkled. Marco rubbed his chin, thinking, when an idea popped into his mind.

"Once upon a time.. Well, eighteen years ago, there was a place called Mewni. And in that place called Mewni, lived a Princess. Star Butterfly. Some said she was reckless and irresponsible, and you know what she says? 'It's just that I like to have fun! I fight monsters, and tame wild unicorns!' But then, on her fourteenth birthday, aside from recieving the family heirloom, she would recieve the biggest shock of her life. Being sent to Earth. When she came to Earth, she decided to school in the Echo Creek Academy. And little did she know, she'd meet her future husband there. The Principal called a certain Safe Kid to take care of the princess. Well, that safe kid was Marco Diaz. He thought he was some misunderstood, bad boy. When in reality, he almost never took risks and was very cautious. Like any fairytale, the boy, in this case, Marco, fell in love with said princess. But it wasn't love at first sight. It was very, very far from that. The first impressions of the princess and the boy.. Weren't that good. Marco was at first reluctant at her, not wanting to entertain her much longer. Star, on the other hand, completely thought of him as a best friend. When Marco found out she was going to live with him, at first, he was fuming. Marco didn't want to do anything to the girl but dispose of her. But then, when Star showed her sincereness, soon, the two became best of friends. Time skip to eighteen years later, and they have two beautiful kids, named Sol Iel Diaz and Mari Posa Diaz, with Star Butterfly, now Star B. Diaz as the Queen of Mewni. That wasn't the end of thrir storu though. That was just the  beginning. They've had lots of conflicts, but through And through, they were still intertwined by fate. And hey, maybe soon I might get to tell you more. But for now, let us close the book on the Adventures of The Princess and the Safe Kid."
