Third Person's P.O.V.

It was a nice, sunny day at Hogwarts. It was the first Quidditch match of the year, and the houses battling were none other than Gryffindor and Slytherin. Everyone who wasn't part of the game was hanging on the edge of their seats, each cheering on their respective teams. Who was Slytherin's seeker you ask? Well, it was none other than Star Butterfly, a fourth year Slytherin. And Fate just happened to pick Marco, also a fourth year, as Gryffindor's seeker. Marco walked up to Star, holding his Nimbus Two Thousand. "You be careful in the game, alright?" He said cautiously. Star just giggled. "I've got it, I've got it! Good luck to you too, Safe Kid." She shrugged before walking away to the field, leaving Marco rambling on about how he wasn't a Safe Kid.
"Good morning everyone, it is I, Ferguson, the spectator of this match, together with my good friend, Jeremy!" Ferguson, a fourth year student from Hufflepuff exclaimed. Jeremy, a first year student at Hogwarts who was placed in the Slytherin house, just glared daggers at Ferguson, before snatching away the microphone from his chubby hands.
"Good morning. I am Jeremy." He stated plainly. Raphael Diaz, Marco's father, was none other than the referee of the match. Raphael threw the two quaffles into the air, signaling the start of the game. Right after releasing the two quaffles, Raphael released the bewitched bludger and snitch.
"And there goes the four balls! Oh look, Janna, a Slytherin chaser, she's got the quaffle, it's about to hit the goal,- And oh, Jackie from Gryffindor steals it!" He shouted into the microphone, his eyes glued to the field. And he was right. When Janna was right about to hit the goal, Jackie charged and stole the quaffle away from the baffled Janna. Jackie successfully hit the goal, earning ten points for her team. "And there goes ten points to Gryffindor.. Stupid team," Declared Jeremy lazily, mumbling the last part. He was quite irritated that his team isn't winning any points. A bludger was coming Justin's, a Gryffindor, way, but the blonde batted it away just in time, the bludger nearly hitting Star. Star gasped in shock, surprised she wasn't knocked out by the ball. She shook her head.
"No. Gotta stay focused. Now, where are you, Golden Snitch.." Star mumbled, her eyes scanning the skies. Marco did the same, careful not to get hit by the bludgers that came flinging at him due to the Gryffindor's beaters.
"That was a close one for Star Butterfly! The Snitch is still nowhere to be found!" Ferguson remarked. Jeremy had a light bulb up his head as he smiled deviously. He grabbed the microphone. "OH MY! THE SNITCH IS NEAR THE GRYFFINDOR'S!" He shouted. Practically all the Gryffindor's snapped their heads back and forth, trying to find the said snitch, but it was nowhere to be found. It was time for the Slytherin's to make their move. Oskar hit the goal, giving Slytherin ten points. Brittney, another chaser, hit the goal, getting Slytherin another ten points.
"Oops, my bad, guess I was seeing things," Jeremy scoffed, smirking that his trick worked. Marco glared at him. Star saw a yellow, glittering object hovering above her. The Snitch! She used her Nimbus Two Thousand, (The same broom Marco has,) to chase the fast, gold ball. Marco suddenly noticed it, and he too was now in the race for the Snitch. "Oh my! Looks like the two lovebirds,- I mean seekers! Seekers, have found the real Snitch! But who's going to get it?! No one knows!" Ferguson exaggerated. The two seekers were almost sixty feet from the ground. Star was about to grab the Snitch, until Justin batted the bludger once more, the ball nearly inches away from Star's cheek. This set her off-guard, as she fell down, possibly plummeting to her end. Marco widened his eyes. He looked at her, then the Snitch. He sighed.
"The things I do.." He mumbled before going top speed on her, reaching out his hand to grab Star. Marco grabbed ahold of Star's waist, and switched places with her, so that he'd take the damage instead. "MARCO!" She screamed, but it was too late. Marco's back absorbed most of the impact, and Star twisted her ankle. Raphael blew his whistle as hard as he could, as he ran to his son.
"Mijo! Are you alright?!" He asked dreadfully. Marco squinted his closed eyes, rubbing his forehead. "Star.." He mumbled. "Open your right hand," He sighed, before standing up, hissing at the sharp pain on his back. Star opened her right hand as her jaw almost dropped. It was the Golden Snitch! Raphael rolled his eyes as he ruffles Marco's hair. He blew on the whistle once again. "SLYTHERIN WINS!" He shouted. The silence erupted into cheers and applaud. Marco earned vicious glares and snarls from his teammates, but he didn't care.
"You okay?" He asked. Star nodded weakly and tried to stand, but winced as she sat back, biting her lip due to the twisted ankle. The brunette boy sighed once more, before shakily standing up, carrying Star, piggyback. He exhaled deeply, enduring the growing pain on his back. Star looked at Marco in concern. Tears started to brim her eyes at the pain Marco was going through, as she buried her head in the back of his neck, crying. She let out a hiccup, Marco's scarf drenched in salty tears. "Why're you crying?" He asked softly. Star just hugged him tighter, bursting to a fit of cries.
"I told you to be more careful, remember?" He tried to sound mad, bit it was hard with her sobbing.

"..T-Thank you for saving me, Marco.." She murmured, her voice a mere whisper. Marco turned dark red at that, but he just shook it off.

"Anything for Princess Cuckoo Pants."
