"Kiara Malfoy."
Chapter 5: Welcome Back
While the group stood hugging, the train jolted to a stop. Everyone in the compartment immediately tumbled to the floor like dominos as they were holding onto each other, rather than any physical support. Somehow, Kiara's head lay on Fred's chest upon impact with George falling across my legs. She had a suspicious feeling that Fred tried to soften her fall because he was nowhere near her before.
"Miss Malfoy... I never knew that you liked me like that," Fred winked, his chest moving as he sniggered.
"It's not my fault! Blame your lazy twin," Kiara argued as George responded with a pained moan. "George, get up."
"No! You can dig me a grave and bury me there. I want a nice and peaceful funeral, with a tombstone made of gold that says, 'Here lies the handsome twin who died because he was just too awesome to live.'"
Kiara glowered at George dangerously before he quickly jumped up to his feet and shuffled away from her in fear. She grinned in triumph and stood up, straightening her skirt. She glanced down at Fred who didn't move, seemingly lost in thought as he watched her with an odd look on his face. She titled her head curiously at him and he blinked before grinning, covering an odd trace of sadness that flashed across his face prior. Everyone around them began taking down their luggage and Kiara waited for them to leave before reaching for her own and Shadow. She was stopped however, by Fred who lifted them down for her.
"I could've done it, Fred," Kiara rolled her eyes.
"But, I wanted too," Fred handed her Shadow's cage and pulled his own trunk behind him. Fred, George and Lee closely followed Kiara as everyone else got lost in the sea of students.
As they reached the platform, Kiara hopped off and dragged her trunk and Shadow behind. Luckily, there was a drop off point for the luggage so the students didn't need to carry their belongings and pets to the horseless-carriages. She placed her trunk next to Lee's and waved at Shadow who hooted sadly.
"Ah Hogwarts, how much I've missed its adventures?" George said, wiping a fake tear.
"You only missed the pranks on people," Kiara replied as Fred and George shrugged with mischievous grins.
"What can we say?" Fred laughed.
"Hogwarts has its good points," George chuckled.
"And by that-,"
"We mean-,"
"We are the best, hottest, awesome, prankers in Hogwarts History!" The twins cried in unison.
"With your two sidekicks, Lee Jordan and Kiara Malfoy," Lee added.
"More Lee than Kiara though. We only use her to save us by sucking up to the teachers if we're caught," George pointed out.
"Nice to know that I'm loved for something," Kiara said sarcastically. "Next time, I just won't tell you what I invented."
"No, Miss Malfoy," Fred wailed, grabbing onto her shoulders roughly and forcing her to face him. "We – Need – You."
"And, we need to get to Hogwarts. Come on, or we'll be the last ones left!" She pointed out.
As she turned towards the horseless-carriage for the first time, she noticed that they were no long horseless. Instead, a skeletal, black and thin creature with black bat like wings stood in between the harness. Its head was dragon-like and its pupil-less eyes were looking at the ground, treading the ground nervously with its hoof.
