"Kiara Malfoy."

Chapter 6: Dolores Jane Umbridge

"Kiara! Wake up!"

"No 'Mione, let me sleep," Kiara groaned, burying her face into her pillow to ignore Hermione's calls.

"But Kiara, we have school today," Hermione pointed out.

"Really? I didn't notice."

"What time did you go to bed last night?" Hermione questioned. Before Kiara could reply, the dormitory door clicked open.

"What's with the yelling?" Ginny called out.

Hermione whispered something to Ginny and both girls giggled. Kiara ignored them both completely, hoping to fall back to sleep but suddenly, the sheets and blankets flew off the bed.

"Are you two insane?" Kiara shivered, bringing her knees up to her chest as the cold morning air nipped at her skin.

"You shouldn't have gone to bed at 1am," Ginny exclaimed, folding her arms.

"One?" Hermione cried in surprise.

"One," Kiara echoed, frowning at them. "Wait, how did you know?"

"Lee. He's downstairs complaining that the twins won't get up either."

"Well, if you went to bed that late, you might as well have some of this," Hermione said, pulling out a green potion from her bedside table.

"Energy replenishing potion?" Kiara asked, recognising the potion that Hermione had given her many times before after staying up late with Fred and George. "Fine." Taking the potion from her, she unstopped the vial and drank it. Immediately, she felt less tired with a sudden urge to run around the grounds outside.

"Okay, I'll get ready," She cried, bouncing out of her bed with more gusto than before.

"Finally," They chorused, exchanging amused glances.

Kiara grabbed her skirt, shirt, jumper and socks out of her trunk before ducking into the shower quickly to get ready. A few minutes later, she exited the bathroom with her blonde hair falling past her shoulder in its normal waves. She met Hermione in the Common Room but there was no sign of her two familiar red-headed best friends anywhere. She smiled however, when she saw Harry and Ron exiting the boys dormitory.

"Hey, you two," Kiara exclaimed, grabbing their shoulders and jumping through the middle of them.

"Hi," They both said glumly.

"What's the matter?" Hermione asked. "You look absolutely – Oh, for heaven's sake!"

Hermione was momentarily distracted by the Common Room noticeboard. Kiara followed her gaze and saw the same sign that Fred and George hung up the night before.

'GALLONS OF GALLEONS.'

"You can't blame them Hermione," Kiara argued, feeling the sudden urge to defend her best-friends. "They aren't really doing anything wrong."
