Chapter 15
Jacob's POV
I wake up the next morning to Livvy's alarm going off. I spent the night at her house? She spent the night in my arms and that actually makes me kind of happy. I look down at her and she looks so adorable while sleeping. I look over to her night table where her alarm clock is and notice a picture of her and I from when we were really young. It's from her birthday when I gave her the heart shaped necklace. Her and I are hugging and the necklace is in her hand. We used to be such good friends, then I became a jerk and just stopped talking to her. I wonder how that made her feel. Did she think about me? Was she upset that I just left her like that? I never really thought of her. I just thought that I could be better friends with Issac and Karman than with Livvy. But if what Livvy told me about them was right then I was very wrong. All of the sudden I feel movement beside me. I look down and Livvy looks up with her big blue eyes.
"Good morning." She says her voice low and her hair a mess.
"Morning." I say back.
"What time is it?" I look at her phone and check.
"6:45."
"I've gotta get ready for school!" She exclaims and jumps out of bed. "You do too mister so you should probably head home.""And what if I don't want to?" I say and grab her arm to pull her back.
"Jacob please." She begs.
"Fine." I say and stand up.
I keep hold of her arm and pull her close to me.
"Wha-what are you doing?" She asks and I feel her heartbeat quicken.
Just then I lean down and kiss her. It isn't like the other night after our date, it feels more natural and she accepts it faster. Just as soon as it starts, she pulls away from me.
"We do have to get to school at some point."
"Alright well I'll see you later then." I say leaving her room.
"Bye Jacob." I hear her say back.

I walk into the school still slightly mad over what Livvy told me last night. I mean Karman and Issac? Really. I go to my locker and see that Issac is there and no one else. Perfect time to confront him about it.
"Issac!" I yell and he looks at me.
"Sup man." He says back obviously not noticing my anger.
"How dare you kiss my girlfriend." I say quietly so no one hears.
"How dare I what?" He asks me.
"Why would you kiss Karman?"
"I've never kissed Karman." He says and I can't tell if he's lying to me or not.
"Oh really, then why have people told me that they saw you two kissing then?"
"I don't know to try and get a rise out of you so something like that."
"I can't tell if you're lying and I don't like that."
"Why would I lie to you, I'm your best friend." He says with a cocky grin. "It's against the bro code to kiss your friends girlfriend."
"I still don't know if I believe you."
"Okay man believe what other people say over the truth that comes out of your best friends mouth."
He walks away from the locker to get to his first class which is drama. Karman is in that class as well and I don't know if I really trust them right now. I mean he did go after her when she was upset the other day, and why would Livvy lie about something that she claims to have seen happen? Livvy has never been the type of person to lie.
I open up my locker and grab my books. I slam my locker shut and head to class.

"I've really missed hanging out with you as often." Karman tells me while sitting on my bed.
"I've just been busy you know that."
"Well I've been lonely."
"Oh ya, and that's why someone saw you and Issac kissing."
"Wait you think that I kissed your best friend?"
"Ya because someone told me that they saw you two kiss."
"It was Olivia wasn't it? She was always jealous of me I mean I got you."
"I never said it was Livvy. And that would be beside the point."
"How Jacob? You abandoned me on my 18th birthday to hang out with her."
"Ya and you were so lonely having all of our friends at your place for a party."
"You just don't get it! You aren't supposed to put her before me! I'm your girlfriend and she's just some girl that you used to be friends with and that you're messing with now."
"Oh my god Karman! You are such a fucking attention whore!" I shout at her an instantly regret it.
"I can't believe this! First you get mad at me in front of all of our friends and now you're getting mad at me here!"
"You know what I think Karman?"
"What Jacob? What could you possibly think?"
"I think you're jealous of Livvy!"
"That is the craziest thing I have ever heard!"
"The craziest thing I've heard is me asking you to be my girlfriend!" I say and realize that I didn't just say it in my head.
"What Jacob, do you want to break up or something?" She says as a single tear runs down her cheek.
"No I didn't mean that Karman."
"You had to at least kind of mean it have said it at all."
All of the sudden Karman gets up and runs to the washroom connected to my bedroom. She leans down and throws up in the toilet.
"Karman are you okay?" I ask, rushing to her side.
"Ya I'm good." She laughs.
"Okay because I don't want anything bad to happen to you." I say and genuinely mean it.
"That's nice Jacob, but I think it's time for me to leave. I think we both need a couple days away from each other." She tells me with a sad look in her eyes.
"Okay if that is what you want."
"It is what I want."
She then goes into my room, gathers her stuff and leaves without even saying goodbye. I don't know why I blew up on her like that. She just makes me kinda mad sometimes, but at the end of the day I do still love her, or I think that I do at least.
