Chapter 4
Alexandra's POV
They are always the noisiest table. It makes you wonder what they are talking about to make them all cheer so loudly. I've never really liked Jacob since I met him, which was in grade 4, also the time I met Livvy. Livvy and I had gotten partnered up for a project and we just clicked. One night we had a sleepover and Jacob was hanging out with us. I just had a bad feeling from him right when Livvy introduced me to him, and I was right to. He stopped hanging out with her at the end of grade seven for a new girl and some guy from another class. Needless to say Livvy was heartbroken. He was her best friend since they were born.
"Do they have to be so loud and obnoxious?" I say when they are finished cheering.
"It's just their way of how they work. Something good happens to one of them they all get excited." Talia says.
"Let's just ignore them and enjoy the rest of our lunch break." Livvy says and we all agree.
The day isn't that bad after lunch time because I actually enjoy my classes and they are both with Livvy. First we have chemistry and then we have gym. We are always partners when we need them, just so we don't need to worry about being with some stranger we don't know very well.
The day ends sooner then I think and soon Livvy is driving us to her place. We are soon sitting in her room talking about the day and doing our homework. All day I couldn't help but worry about her though, because she always looks so hurt when Jacob is having the time of his life with his friends. I know she thinks about how it would-be different if they were still friends. Maybe Jacob would be a different person, but we can't go the past and change stuff, so he will forever be a jerk.
Olivia's POV
I wake up on my bed and see Alex on the top bunk. Wait we actually went to sleep in my bed? What is this? I look at my phone and see that it is 10:30. Why didn't my alarm go off? We are so late for school!
"Alex wake up! We are so late for school!" I say and start to get ready.
"No we're not go back to sleep." I groan.
"It's 10:30! It's lunch time!"
"It's Saturday!"
"Wait, what?" I look at my phone again and sure enough it says Sat up at the top. "Well I'm smart."
"I guess I'm up now. Can we get some breakfast?" She asks me.
"Yes, I'll go put some pop tarts in the toaster." I tell her and walk downstairs.
I grab the s'mores pop tarts and put them in the toaster when I hear a knock at the door.
I open and am kinda shocked by who I see.
"Oh, Jacob, hi. Did they mix up our mail again?" I ask.
"No, I actually wanted to talk to you." He tells me and leans on my doorframe.
"Ok, so talk." I say a bit more harshly then intended.
"I know we haven't exactly been friends for a long time, but I want to fix that before we graduate and never see each other again." He explains to me.
"Ok so how are you going to do that?"
"Do you want to hang out sometime? I know you probably still have my number."
"Actually I deleted it." I lie to him.
Of course I still have his number. I've been waiting for the text where he tells me that he was stupid and wants to be friends again. All the tomes I tried to delete it I just couldn't bring myself to do it.
"Well I still have yours so I'll text you the details later."
"I never agreed to your offer."
"But you never disagreed either." He says and walks back to his house.
