Chapter 18

Livvy's POV

It's a typical Wednesday night. I sit on my bed doing my homework. Okay maybe I'm playing on my phone more than I'm doing my homework, but teachers can't expect me to sit in class all day doing this stuff and then assign it for me to do on my free time.
I sit complaining to myself about how I should be doing my math, chemistry, and English work when I get a text. I go to my messages and see that it's my friends group chat.
Angel: Hey girls. I'm bored wanna do something?
Kristin: Shouldn't you be doing homework?
Angel: Ya I should but I don't want to.
Talia: I agree let's go out and do something.
Mads: We could go shopping.
Alex: Great idea. God knows I've been looking for an excuse to get new clothes.
Livvy: You could've easily gone out on your own :p
Alex: But then I don't know what really looks good on me. You guys can be brutally honestly sometimes XD
Livvy: True enough.
Talia: So meet at the mall in half an hour?
Mads: Sounds good to me.
Angel: See you there :)
I put down my phone and tidy up all my homework and pile it all neatly on my desk. I put on some pants, grab my bag and mom's car keys and head out the door. I drive up to the mall, listening to the radio as it plays. I pull into the parking lot and drive around looking for a spot when all of the sudden I spot Alex's car. Luckily there is a free spot beside it and I pull in there.
"Hey Alex." I say as I step out of the car.
"Hey Livvy." She says back as her phone rings.

"Hey Talia, I just got here and Livvy is here too." I hear her say into her phone. "You're at Forever 21? We'll be right there."
"Of course it's Forever 21." I say and she laughs as she hangs up the phone.
Angel's favorite store in the whole mall is Forever 21, so every time we go to the mall that is always our first stop. We walk into the mall and go to the store which is all the way on the other side. We get there and see that our friends are all already there.
"Hey guys." I say and they all turn around and exchange hi's as well.
"Let's get shopping!" Angel exclaims.
We all walk around looking for clothes and once we all find a bunch we all go back to the dressing rooms to try them on. We all get our first outfits in and step out to see each other.
Kristin has on a tight green shirt along with a pair of brown shorts and I have to say she looks amazing. She's also wearing a pair of brown toms. She always wear simple things but she just has a way of making them look great.
Next is Angel. She has on a white crop top and a pink high waisted skirt that has white polka dots on it. On her feet are a pair of pink flats that complete the outfit. She's super girly and pink is definitely her favorite colour. That's probably why she loves ballet so much, because it is known for being pink and girly.
Alex has on a black sweater top with a bejeweled broken heart and a pair of black leggings. Although Alex's look isn't completed without black combat boots. Alex loves wearing dark colours and honestly they look amazing on her. Her and Angel are literally opposites for what they wear. Alex wears pants and a long sleeve shirt and Angel wears crop tops and high waisted skirts. Alex wears mainly black and Angel usually wears pink and other super bright colours.
Talia wears more of the pastel colours. She wears a pastel purple dress with a jean jacket. She has a pair of blue flats that look like they are made of denim, causing them to match the jacket. She always wears soft pastel colours and looks fantabulous in them. They also correspond with her calm nature.
Madison has kind of been corrupted by her dad in the sense of how she dresses. Since her family is rich, they wear the stereotypical clothing to match. She wears a white blouse with a blue blazer over top. She also wears a pair of blue skinny jeans and dark blue high heels. I'd be lying if I said that she looked bad, because she can rock it and it looks amazing on her.
Lastly is me. I have on a pair of black skinny jeans and a white knitted sweater shirt. I also have on a pair of tall brown boots that come up just below my knee and a black and red checkered scarf.
"Okay we all look totally hot!" Exclaims Angel. "We are all buying these outfits and are wearing them tomorrow." Everyone nods their head in agreement.
We all change into other clothes but we all agree that the first outfits that we had on looked the best, so we all get changed into our actual clothes and go to find jewelry for them. That takes us a little while, but once we do we go to the check out and pay for the outfits.
After that we go to La Senza, because Angel insists that we all need to get a new set of matching bras and underwear. None of us go against her and all end up getting a pair of underwater with their matching bra.
We walk around the mall for a while longer going into different stores to get a lot more clothing, that we don't necessarily need.
After a while we walk by the little book store and I tell my friends that I'm going to run in quickly. I go over to the teen section and look for the book that I've been looking for forever. I back up and run into someone.
"I am so sorry I didn't see you there." I look up and see Jacob. "Jacob? What are you doing here?" I ask him.
"Shopping for books and apperently literally running into people." He says and I laugh. " I see you've been shopping." I look at my pile of bags and notice that the La Senza one is right in front.
"Ya, I'm here with my friends." I say and push the La Senza bag away with my foot.
"Get anything pretty?" He asks with a cheeky grin obviously talking about the La Senza bag.
"Not that you're going to see me in." I say and stick out my tongue.
"Livvy hurry up!" I here Talia yell.
"Well I've gotta go." I tell him and notice the book in his hand. I grab it and gather all my bags. "Thanks for finding thus book for me by the way." I say and walk to the cash register.
I pay for the book and go meet my friends.
"What took you so long?" Mads asks me.
"I couldn't find the book I was looking for." I lie.
"Well we've still got a few store we've gotta go to before we go home." Kristin tells me and we link arms.
"Then why are we standing here talking? Let's go!" I say and no we continue through the mall.
