Patrick - Why can't we just be friends? (part 2)

So, Patrick dating you out of pity. Broke up with you. Then got married. You see them on the street. Patrick says your name and you be a bitch.

You caught up? Ok, good. I'm not saying that again.

You walk home, shocked by what you had told Patrick. But, at the same time you were proud of yourself. For some reason...

A couple weeks later, you see on the news, Patrick and his wife are getting a divorce. 

You couldn't help but think you made that happen.

On Patrick Twitter, over the course of a month, he tweets things that are specifically aimed towards you. And they involved a little bit of song lyrics... (Sorry, I have to)

@PatrickStump - I know I'm the one you want to forget. Now it's time for me to fall apart.

You reply to one of his tweets. 

(Y/T/N) - The person that you'd take a bullet for, is behind the trigger. So, I'll stick to myself, Patrick.

Three weeks later the news makes another report.

"The singer of Fall Out Boy, Patrick Stump, has just been admitted to (Some) Los Angeles hospital. We have reports that Patrick Stump has attempted suicide. An overdose. Pete Wentz repeat possibly?"

You stare at your TV. Not believing a word of the report.

You snap out of it, and quickly rush over to the hospital. 

You go into the ER. You see Pete there.

"(Y/N)? Really?" Pete asked. 

"Yeah," you say. 

"You," Pete says. "you are the reason Patrick is here!"

"How?!" You asked shocked. 

"How?! How!?" Pete mocks. "You've been turning him down for years!" 

"No, I haven't!" You say. "I just ran into Patrick 2 months ago! I haven't seen him for 2 years! How could I've been turning him down?!"

"Patrick has been telling us," Pete says, becoming more quiet. "you've turned him down for years. He says you broke up with him. He said that you said you never wanted to see him again."

"Seriously?" You ask.

"Yeah," Pete replies.

"When Patrick said he was only dating  me out of pity," you say. "I just wanted him back in my life. But, I knew if he was dating me because of that, he wouldn't want to see me again."

"(Y/N)," Pete says. "you have no idea how much Patrick loves you, do you?"

"What?" You ask, shocked. "Patrick loves me?"

"He never stops talking about you," Pete says. "Patrick says you're his world."

"But," you say. "but, he's married."

"Yeah," Pete says. "because he needed someone in his life."

"Oh my god," you say. "I need to see Patrick right now!" 

"Come," Pete says, grabbing your hand.
