You and Patrick decided to take an off day at the beach.
"C'mon, (Y/N)!" Patrick says. "Let's go in the water!"
"No, it's cold," you reply.
"Why are we at the beach if you're not gonna swim?" Patrick asks.
"Because it's pretty," you explain.
"Then, just..." Patrick says. "...sit there with me..."
"Sit where?" you ask.
"By the shore!" Patrick says.
"Ok, ok," you say.
You grab a hair tie, and prepare to put your hair up.
As you try and keep all of your hair in one place, you see Patrick looking at your neck.
"Is my neck that interesting?" You ask.
Patrick doesn't answer you.
"(Y/N) (Y/L/N), is that a scar I see?" Patrick asks.
You face-palm yourself in your head. Damn.
FLASHBACK TIME - 2 years ago
You had enough of this world, and was going to end it.
You bring the blade to your throat and begin to cut.
As you stood in front of the mirror so you could see all the blood coming out of your throat.
You stopped as your vision became blurry.
Soon, you feel unconscious, but awoke in a hospital, alive.
End of le flashback
You sit there not wanting to answer Patrick.
"(Y/N)!" Patrick yells. "Is that a scar?!"
"Yes! Yes, it is, Patrick!" You reply, angrily.
Patrick walks off, angry.
You go after him. "Patrick Martin Stump! What's wrong with you?!"
"You had an attempted suicide!" Patrick says, turning his face towards you.
You see his eyes have tears in them.
"What wrong?" You ask, feeling kind of guilty.
Patrick just hugs you. You don't even question it, you just hug him back.
"It's gonna get better," Patrick whispers. "It's gonna be alright."
"I know," you reply. "It was just a mistake."
"Yeah," Patrick says. "but you're not."
