(A/N Aaaaaaaayyyyeeee a non-gendered one. Hey, if you're a dude or non-binary and reading this, I want you to have a chance too! Not just for the other humans. PS. Thanks to my friend, Sky [holysmokesthanksPete], for suggesting this. They also did a version of this but with Patrick in their P & P imagines. Go read it.)

I took a deep breath and fiddled around with the ring in my pocket. Today was the day I was going to ask Pete Wentz to marry me.
I told Pete to relax all day yesterday, while I ran done errands. But, I was planning how I was going to propose to Pete with Patrick and Joe.
We came up with an idea like a flag mob. Y'know, the tacky way of flash mobs. Eh, I thought it was cute, shut up.
We arranged for them to play Marry Me (by Jason Derulo), while Pete watches me dance to it.
Now, came my moment. We were at the shopping district, in the middle of the plaza. Patrick called for everyone's attention, as I fiddled with the ring in my pocket.
"Okay! Everyone be quiet, and draw your attention to the fountain. I have a friend here that wants to do something for that emo kid over there. Enjoy, Peter."
I ran behind the fountain, and the Fall Out Boys started playing. I walked out from behind the fountain and did a cliche 'Oh hey, I'm here' move.
That's where it got exciting.
After two months of dance lessons, it paid off.
Pete watched me, and was smiling. 'I don't deserve this,' I'm guessing is what Pete was thinking, due to his facial expressions.
At the end, I went down on one knee and held the ring in my hand.
"Peter Lewis Kingston Wentz III, will you marry me?" I asked, breathing deeply.
"No," Pete said.
"What?!" I said shocked.
"Oh my lord, of course, you doof," Pete said, hugging me.
I heard awwing around us. I kissed Pete then gave him the ring. I held up my hand and pointed to the ring I was already wearing.
"Of course it's a black one," I said.
Pete looked at the ring I had handed him, then back at me. "Fuck yeah."
