Bronx ran into your and Pete's room. He jumped on the bed, mostly likely to wake you up.

"Bronx," Pete said. "go back to bed.

"But," Bronx said.

"No buts," you said. "Go back to bed, now."

"It's Mother's Day!" Bronx blurted out frantically.

Bronx got off the bed and went back to his room. You got out of bed. You went into Bronx's room.

"I'm sorry, Bronx," you said, picking him up. "Daddy and I are just tired."

"It's ok," Bronx said, kissing you on the cheek.

You put Bronx down and he went to get something off the top of his drawer. "Here," Bronx said handing it to you. It was a card, signed by both Pete and Bronx.

"Happy Mother's Day," Pete said, standing in the doorway. "Read the card."

You opened the card and Bronx wrote, "You're an awesome mommy. You deserve everything. I love you <3." It was obvious Pete helped him write that. You looked on the opposite page, and saw Pete wrote, "You're an awesome wife, mother, and friend. I don't deserve you. You're perfect. I love you <3."

You looked up at Pete, who was holding Bronx. "I love it," you said smiling.

Bronx kissed your cheek and Pete kissed your other cheek.

"Your welcome," Pete said.

"Yeah," Bronx agreed. "Your welcome."
