chapter 7

I stand in front of my closet in disbelief. Seriously?? I have nothing nice to wear for this date! I flop down onto my bed in frustration. What am I going to do? As I continue to search my closet I hear a knock on the door. I hop downstairs and open the door to reveal Isaac, holding a rose.

"Wow.. you look nice" I compliment while smiling at him.

"Thanks!" He replied while staring at me. "So um..you're wearing that?" He questioned obviously not trying to be rude.

"Whats wrong with what I'm wearing?" I fire at him as he stands there embarrassed.

"N-no I d-didn't mean it li-like that" he stutters looking at the ground blushing.

"I know" I tell him laughing. "I just wanted to mess with you" I say while shrugging.

"You're gonna get it!" He shouts as he chases me inside.
I run up the stairs in a hurry, and lock myself in my room

"Haha you can't get me now!" I declare,coughing out of breath.

"No fair!!" He pouts from the other side of The door. "Let me in!" He yells as he pounds on the door.

"I need to get ready, hold your horses" I shout while rolling my eyes. I hear a loud sigh from the other side of the room followed by footsteps. Did he really go down the stairs? I slightly open the door to see if he's there, and I'm greeted by nobody in the hallway. As I'm about to close the door, a foot stops it and opens the door. I run into the closet giggling as Isaac chases me. I run to the very corner of my closet, and hide under my outfits. Just as I think I lost him, he rips through my cover and starts to tickle me.

"Sto....stopp.. please" I say in between giggles.

"Not until you tell me how amazing I am!" He says wiggling his eyebrows.

"Never!" I state as I fall to the floor laughing. He proceeds to tickle me as I swear I can't breath

"Okay...fine!! You're amazing!!" I shout out, as I try to control my giggles. He stops tickling me and stands up in victory.

"Now get out or the dates off!" I warn him as I push him out. I then again make my way back to my closet to look through my plain clothes again. As I'm about to give up hope and go with a simple t-shirt and skinny jeans, I notice the most beautiful dress I've seen in my life. It was blue and sparkly and flows down in the back. I grab the dress and pull it on in a hurry. I look in the mirror to discover the dress fits me perfectly. It hugs all my curves,and I know Isaac is going to love this. I head into my bathroom to do my hair and put on some makeup. I decide on a simple bun, and Lightly apply some concealer,mascara, and eyeshadow. I'm not a big fan of makeup,because I don't believe that girls need it to feel beautiful. I make my way downstairs to notice Isaac sitting there in shock.

"Starings rude." I declare while giggling.

"Wo-wow. You look beautiful." He admits to me while blushing lightly.

"You don't look that bad yourself" I joke while winking at him.

"Shall we go?" He questions while holding my hand. I nod my head as he leads me to his car. As I approach the car I go to open the door, only for Isaac to come In front of me. He opens the door for me as I sit down.

"Such a gentleman you are" I tell him while smiling to myself.

"Why thank you" he says while winking at me.

"So... where are we going?" I question while playing with my hair.

"It's a surprise, but I will tell you that it's going to be romantic!" He exclaims excitement filling his body.

"Yea because I'm just filled with that romantic charm." I say sarcastically while rolling my eyes. Isaac looks at me for a second as we approach a beach. He opens his door, and walks over to open mine. I stand up and look at my surroundings, Beautiful waves crashing against each other as the sunset is in view.

"It's beautiful.." I say stunned at the amazing view.

"Well I know something more beautiful.." He starts looking at me.

"That was so cheesy Isaac." I state while laughing. We laugh for a couple moments as we stare at each other. Our whole world seems to stop as nothing else matters. After a little while I break away and look in front of us.

"ISAAC LOOK OUT!" I scream at him, But it was too late. The damage was done. Isaac falls to the ground as blood surrounds him.

"Isaac!" I cry out while holding him.

"I'm..I'm..gonna be okay" he says while pain flashes across his face. He lays in my arms for moments until I hear ambulance in the background.

"You're gonna be in good hands" I whisper to him even though he can't hear me. I hear him whisper one last thing to me before he gets carried Off:

" to the world you may be one person: but to one person you may be the world"

And with that the ambulance drives away, leaving me alone with my thoughts.

Hey guys!! I kinda had a writer's block on this so sorry If its bad. I'm kind of doing a mini contest here. Whoever can guess correctly what happened to Isaac, they will get a character in my book dedicated to them! All you have to do is message me privately in any way you are able to. Rather it be text, on here, or over Skype. Whatever you guys have me on. There is only one guess per person and I will announce later who the winner is. Good luck! Also what happened to Isaac will be mentioned later as it will be from his pov. I hope you guys enjoyed and I kinda had a writer's block for this. So please don't judge. :) ~Kayla
