*4 Weeks Later

" I said pinky white cake , not purple white . " Cara groaned .

Cara is not at her best moments . Everything is a mess . Maybe Brad shouldn't put her in charge of the wedding . She started to regret the moments she agreed to do this .

She remember the reasons why she agreed in the first place but decided it wasn't a good time to think about it . All she knew now is to keep herself busy with her brother's wedding preparation .

Yes , you hear it right . Brad is going to marry his girlfriend , decided it was a good time to mend their broken family again . He realized that Cara needs someone to play the mother role and Ashley is the perfect candidates .

" It's okay . I can go with the purple cake . " Ashley knows how much pressure in her sister in-law shoulders and don't want to burden her any longer that she is now .

" Are you sure ? I mean we can always change the cake . "

" Cara , the wedding is few hours away . It's okay . " Cara sighed relief , glad her sister in-law doesn't being picky .

" You are lucky the bride wanted the cake . " Cara is technically glaring at the afraid delivery boy .

" Let's just talk about the dress shall we . " Ashley dragged Cara away from the innocent delivery boy , trying to distract her .

" Okay , the bridemaids dress and bride dress is here . I also make sure that I rearrange back the seats of Mr and Mrs Collins . They are having some little fight with Mrs Balinger and we don't want the cat fight around the wedding . " she chuckles nervously .

" I didn't know that they have a fight . " Ashley give her a confused look .

" They are yesterday . About some trees . "

" You sounds like TMZ with all those latest gossips . " Ashley smiled , teasing her .

" Never thought about that . Trust me , it was energy draining . " Cara never thought arranging the seats could be hella tiring .

" How about the groom ? " Ashley asked , wanting to know about more details .

" The groom's suit has been tested but I don't know about the best men Brad had . He refused to let me know who he choose as his best men . " Ashley chuckles , knowing little more that Cara did .

It was mean to be a surprised and she would like to keep it that way .

" Did you know something I don't ? " Cara give her suspicious looks .

" I have no idea as you are . " Ashley lied and he do it for Brad's sake .

" He can be secretive sometimes . "

" Sounds like Brad . " Cara shrugged .

" All is done and for now , let's just wait for the wedding . Maybe you should take a quick nap . " Ashley suggested .

" I can't . I have to contact the wedding make-up artist . She is not here yet . " Cara pull out her phone but Ashley quickly snatch it away .

" Let me done the rest . You have work really hard about this for month and now let me do the work okay ? " Cara bites her lips .

" But you are the bride . " she protested .

" Who says that the bride can't plane her own wedding ? "

" But .. "

" Just gooo . I have the rest of the team to help me out now go . " Ashley shushed her away .

" Cara , the wedding's artist is now here yet . " Letty whined .

" I will call her . Just finish the decoration okay . "

" I will call her and you have a nap to take care off . " Ashley's eyes darted at Letty .

" You go and make sure she is sleeping before you leave her side and that's an order . " Letty salute the bride before pulling Cara away .

" But I haven't see the decoration yet . Who knows that they might get it wrong . "

" Your sister in-law is right Cara . You haven't rest since Brad announced that he is getting married . " Letty is now stated her opinion .

" I want this to work . "

" It will . Doesn't matter if they got the wrong cake or the decoration will fall off , if Brad is determine to marry Ashley then he will , perfect or not . " Cara pouted .

She always wanted the perfect wedding for herself but since she is not planning to have one soon , she has to make sure that her brother's wedding would be perfect . Just like what she dreamed off .

For some reasons , she couldn't fight off her imaginary mind . Having Zayn waiting for her at the isle , saying I Do and have Malik as her last name . She wanted all that but no , she decided it wasn't worth the fight anymore .

Since she told Zayn to leave , as she expected , Zayn never call or text her , asking how was she . Maybe Zayn took it seriously but deep down she wish that Zayn would be rebel for once and do the otherwise .

The bird that she let go doesn't come back like she wished . Maybe it was her fault to let it go in the first place but what kind of option she had ?

She is tired of having her heart broken over and over again . She is tired with the chasing and she is doing this for her . For her future .

If Zayn never comes back soon , she probably has to find another man to share her dreams with . If he has move on then she should do the same .

But that doesn't stop the fact that she still missed him . She keeps lying to herself that the feelings would go away but who is she try to fool ?

One day she will have to start a new chapter and she has to do it now .

One day Zayn Malik will be just a man that makes her dream came true but it will just be a faint memory .

I got two comments saying that Cara should never let Zayn go but you need to understand her .

She is tired with everything and decided to take a rest . She deciced it wasn't worth the chase anymore . I'm sure at some points , we will all do like she did if we have enough of someone .

But don't worry , Zayn is not planning to give up on her just yet .
