*I left it all behind, baby
I didn't need no one
But I'm here tonight baby,
I've been alone for too long.*

I don't think I ever felt so alone before. An hour after I came home, Maribeth came. She saw the sad look I had on my face, and said how I looked a little sick.

Of course I lied and told her I wasn't feeling well. Being the wonderful person she is, she said that I could stay home from school.

And that's exactly what I did.

Bryce has been blowing up my phone with calls and text messages all day.

I didn't answer or reply to any of them, I don't really feel like talking to him. Maybe tomorrow.

While I'm stuffing my face with cookies and creme ice cream, I hear someone calling me on my phone, and it's not Bryce's ring tone, or Abels.

I look at the screen, and see the name Lucas.

Lucas. Lucas. Lucas. Who's lucas?

I think for a moment, and then remember he was the guy I met from the party.

I answer it and put the phone on speaker. "Hello."

"Hey fireball, remember me?"

"Yeah, I remember you." I say quietly.

"Hey what's wrong, how are you?"

"I'm not very good." I grumble.

"Awe, talk to luky."

I sigh, "I think I got dumped."

"Oh, Damn. Why do you think that."

I hesitate, I don't usually tell people what's going on in my life other than Bryce. But right now Bryce doesn't seem like an option.

I take a deep breath and tell Lucas, everything. Well everything that happened the night of the party and yesterday. I even tell him how Abel is my math teacher. He didn't even judge me.

After telling the story, I realize how stupid I was.

"I messed up didn't I?"

"Well, sort of."

"I should've never went to that Damn party. But Bryce just begged me to come, I couldn't say no."

"Well, it's kind of my fault. I insisted you have a drink even when you told me you couldn't. And for that I'm really sorry."

"I would've have ended up drinking sooner or later, you just happen to make it sooner."

He chuckles lightly, "Have you seen Bryce?"

"Um no, he's been texting and calling me like crazy today. I haven't replied to him though."

"I think you two should talk. I'm pretty sure he didn't intend on leaving you by yourself."

"Maybe, but I'm not ready to talk to him yet."

"Well, too bad because we're going to talk right now." I turn my head and see Bryce standing standing at my door frame.

I sigh, "Lucas, I gotta go. Bryce is here. I'll text you."

"Alright, bye fireball and good luck." I end the call and sit up.

"How did you get in?"

"I have a spare key." He walks and sits at the edge if my bed.

"What do you want?" I give him a blank look.
