#AbelSundae
*Let's make it seem like we're all we need in the end.*
"This feels like deja vu." Lucas mumbles.
I take a sip of my drink, "How so?"
"You, drinking and telling me all your problems."
I shrug, and continue to drink.
"You'll get used to it." Bryce says as he stretches.
This is how it's been for about two hours or so. Me, Bryce and Lucas just sitting on my bed drinking beers that I told Lucas to bring.
"I suppose. Okay so let me get this straight, some lady at your school is on you and Abel's case. So to get her off, you hooked her up with Abel. And now you're mad because, you saw Abel and the woman kissing in the parking lot?"
"Yeah, that's pretty accurate." I look at my bottle of Corona and see that it's empty. I grab another one and pop the top off.
"And you said you spoke to him?"
"Yeah, but nothing really came out of that conversation. He thinks that he did nothing wrong."
"Well I can see why he feels that way."
"Wait, you aren't agreeing with him are you?"
"I'm not. I'm just saying that I understand why he feels like he did nothing wrong."
"But he did." Bryce pipes up.
"He did and he didn't."
"Explain." Bryce says and I listen to Lucas While sipping slowly on my drink. Feeling slightly loose.
"You said that you were the one who brought them together to keep your relationship a secret. And Abel didn't want to do it at first but you convinced him to. So technically you can't get mad if he does something that he would normally do to you to-- what's her name?"
"Luciana." I grumble.
"Yeah, to her."
"I have to disagree with that. He should know what to do and what not to do. I mean he can just peck her on the cheek or something and still make it seem like he's interested in her." Bryce nods agreeing with me.
"You are right. But you can't be mad at him. Especially for doing something that's on your call."
"I didn't tell him to kiss her like that though."
"True. But you did tell him to act as if he likes her."
I frown at his words. Lucas is sort of right.
Sort of.
I still feel like Abel didn't have to go all that extreme when he was kissing her. Then again I did basically force him to act like he likes her. Ugh.
Lucas smiles, knowing that I have nothing to say back to him.
"Okay, I'm going home." Bryce announces.
"What, Why?" I whine.
"Because, if I stay here any longer I'll keep on drinking. And I don't want to have a hangover at school. Since it will be the day before homecoming, tomorrow will be hectic and I need to be aware and sober." Bryce kisses me on the forehead and grabs his car keys. "I'll be here to pick you up though."
"Yeah, whatever. Love you."
"Love you too. Bye Lucas. Make sure she doesn't go overboard. And if anything happens call me."
