Rosemary was beautiful in her human disguise as well. Smooth skin instead of soft fur, freckles, dark eyes, hair flowing in the same colours as before. But as much as he was enjoying the view of her human disguise, he would still prefer her demon form over this any day. Her demon form was her true form, and so...
Lunar desperately wished he could tell her that, but he'd keel over from embarrassment if he worded it wrong and made a fucking cheeseball out of himself.
So instead he just tightened his arm from where it was wrapped around Rosemary's waist. She smiled and leaned into him closer as they kept walking. They were strolling down the street of the living world together, both wearing their human disguises. Tonight was Halloween, but this street wasn't a very popular place for trick-or-treaters to go, so they didn't have to be bothered by a bunch of little shits running past them.
"There's something about the living world that's just so calming." Rosemary commented as a breeze ruffled through her hair.
"Well, there's no magic or demons up here." Lunar replied. "Humans have way simpler lives than us. Guess that's what makes it calming."
As they kept walking, they neared the end of that peaceful lane, coming across a mansion that was roaring with booming music and excited screams. Looks like someone was throwing a party in there. Lunar didn't care about it in the slightest, far too distracted by the girl on his arm, but he glanced at it for just a second as he passed by. He stopped dead in his tracks when he saw what was scrawled across the banner:
'Anti-Blitza Party'
Rosemary almost tripped, being caught off-guard by the sudden stop. "Lunar?"
"Sorry, sorry." He muttered. "But that house... the fuck are they up to in there?"
"Anti-Blitza party." Rosemary read the banner out loud. "I guess it's about someone named Blitza?"
"Could we just go over there for a second?"
Rosemary looked at him in surprise. "I thought you said this was a quiet stroll."
Lunar grimaced as he felt a spike of guilt. "Shit. Sorry, I'm not trying to be an asshole and ruin our date. I know you probably wanted to—"
"No, I don't mind it! Not if it's what you wanna do." She corrected. "I was just surprised you switched up the plan."
They walked over to the mansion. Lunar saw a bunch of demons running around the lawn and being stupid, most of them not even wearing human disguises like him and Rosemary were. Upon closer inspection, it didn't look like any humans had been invited to this party at all. It was all demons, meaning the host or hostess was probably a demon too.
But who would host a party like this?
Lunar wondered if this could be about someone else named Blitza. It was possible. But then again, Blitza wasn't a very common name, and he had a sinking feeling that they were probably talking about his Blitza. Concern and curiosity were gnawing at Lunar, until he saw a familiar-looking figure step out of the mansion.
"Come 'ere for a sec, Rosemary." Lunar muttered, grabbing Rosemary's hand and tugging her behind the bushes. He knelt down so he'd be hidden behind the thick foliage, and Rosemary cooperatively did the same.
Starla exited the mansion, holding hands with a succubus. The succubus wore a shirt that said 'Better Than Blitza'. Lunar watched the two women walk down the yard, chattering with each other, before the succubus stood on tiptoe and pecked Starla on the lips. Starla kissed back.
Lunar growled under his breath. If he were in hellhound form, his ears would be flattened against his head and his fangs would be exposed.
"That's Princess Starla." Rosemary noticed.
