Chapter 27

The entire vacation Alice never mentioned her pregnancy again. Owen wondered if she even remembered telling him. They walked back to their house from the car dragging their suitcases. Alice plopped onto the sofa. Owen stared at her.
"What?" She asked him.
"Are you really pregnant?" Owen blurted out.
"What?" Alice said.
"You told me on the plane," Owen said.
"I didn't want to tell you like that," Alice sighed.
"You should sleep you're starting your teaching job in the morning," Owen left the room. Alice rubbed her face. Did Owen not want this baby? Alice went into the bedroom and fell asleep. When she woke up Owen was in the kitchen cooking breakfast. She walked out slowly.
"I'm sorry about the way I acted last night,I was just shocked," Owen hugged her.
"It's fine," she said.
"So how many months are you?" Owen asked.
"4 months I think," Alice said.
"So 5 months and we'll have a baby," Owen smiled.
"Yeah," Alice kissed him.
"Alice,you're  gonna be late," Owen pointed to the clock.
"Noooo!" Alice grabbed her bags and ran. Owen chuckled.

"Hello class,this is paleontology right," Alice walked into the class.
"Yeah,you're our teacher?" A boy asked surprised.
"Yes," Alice smiled.
"Wow!" He smirked. Alice flashed her ring at him and he stopped smiling. A few other students laughed. Alice was about to start teaching when Owen ran into the class.
"Babe,I got a bunch of snacks in case you have any pregnant cravings," Owen kissed her.
"Thanks," Alice smiled.
"Try and sit down more while you're teaching," Owen whispered.
"Honey I'm fine,I'm not even that far right now," Alice giggle.
"Ok just be careful," Owen whispered.
"When am I never?" Alice smirked. Owen stared at her.
"Bye," he kissed her.
"Bye," Alice smiled. Owen left the room. Alice turned around to see most of the girls staring at her.
"I want you're husband," one of the girls said.
"No he's mine," Alice smiled.
"Ok now let's start with one of my favorite dinosaurs, the apatosaurus.."
