Chapter 32

I slowly back away from Owen. My eyes are focused on above him.
"Owen," I whispered.
"What?" He says a bit too loud.
"Spinosaurus!" I scream as it lunges itself at him. Owen moves just in time and we run. He pulls me into part of the destroyed plane. We sit as still as possible. The dinosaur sniffs the plane. It begins to stick it's mouth in and try and eat us. We scramble backwards.
"Follow me!" A strange man calls. We crawl out and follow him. We run until we are far away from the dinosaur. I stand bent over with Owen. He pulls me into a hug. We let go and stand at the strange man.
"Who are you?" I ask him.
"My names Kyle," he smiles.
"How long have you been here?" Owen asks.
"About 4 years now," he says. I stare at Owen in shock.
"Now if you don't mind I have to be on my way," he starts to walk away.
"Wait you can't leave us here!" I run after him.
"We'll die!" I yell.
"Not my problem," he leaves. I stand there glaring at him as he leaves. Owen puts his hand on my shoulder.
"It's getting dark,let's climb a tree and sleep," he says. I fall asleep instantly cuddled up to him. I wake up to feel a warm breathe on me. My heart stops when I see a T-Rex staring at us. I stay as still as I can. Owen starts to stir in his sleep. The dinosaur notices. I push Owen so he wakes. His eyes widens and we climb out the tree.
"This way!" I run. I trip down a hill but don't even care. I stand up again and run. I stop when I feel safer.
"We made it, Owen," I smile and turn around.
"Owen!" I scream. He's not there.
