INGREDIENTS:
-2 cups of Crushed peanuts or ground nuts, finely crushed
-5 small onions or shallots, finely chopped
-Salt to taste
-Oil (optional)METHOD
Boil 11/2 cups of water in a pan, when it gets hot a bit boil on a low flame.Then add the crushed ground nuts to the water and mix immediately because the ground nuts will keep making lumps hence the constant stirring.
While still mixing add the onions or shallots and continue mixing still on a low flame. Add a little oil and continue stirring, oil is optional in this meal because ground nuts already contain oil.
Then add the salt to taste make sure you don't put lots of it.
As you stir when the sauce contains bubbles of the boil and has turned a slight brown then the sauce is ready.
Note, Make sure the sauce doesn't contain any lumps.
Best served hot with steamed green bananas (matooke).
