INGREDIENTS
1 kg of beef, cubed
1/2 cabbage, shredded
2 large tomatoes, chopped
1 large red onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1/2 ginger, finely chopped
1 tablespoon of cumin
1/2 tablespoon of paprika
Salt to taste
Oil to fryMETHOD
Make sure to wash the beef cubes to remove dirt or whatever..
In a pan over medium heat, add the beef cubes leave to cook until water is done in beef so that it browns, we all know browned meat is the best!!
When water soaked out of the beef, add oil to the beef and stir... This is basically stir up moment right here
Add chopped onion and stir with the fried beef, remove the fried onions and beef and put aside
In the same pan add oil, put the green pepper and chopped ginger and stir well, add cumin and paprika and mix with the peppers, add the tomatoes and stir add little water and leave to simmer until the tomatoes are fully boiled
Add the shredded cabbage to the mixture,salt to taste and mix well, when cabbage is boiled remove extra water, then add the fried beef and onions to the mixture
Once beef is added to the cabbage mixture, leave to simmer for 15-20 minutes
When the beef is ready, serve hot with steamed rice or mashed potatoes or steamed green bananas or pilaf or steamed Irish potatoes
