The grasshopper month is November!! BTW this snack is not for the weak hearted (just saying)
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup of grasshoppers, free of legs, wings, antennas and keep in water.
1 small onion, finely chopped
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons of oil
1 small cup of green peppers, finely chopped
1 small cup of red peppers, finely choppedMETHOD:
Put the grasshoppers in water and bring to a boil, leave it to boil for 40 minutes.Drain the water from grasshoppers and add oil to the grasshoppers and stir for 2 minutes.
Add salt and stir for 1 minute, cook for 7 minutes on a low flame, stirring.
Once ready, turn off the flame and add the onions, the peppers and mix well.
Serve with cooked cassava, mainly eaten during breakfast.
