9th April 1990 (My Birthday)
"Get out of my house you ungrateful child. Get the hell away from me you freak!" my dad yelled. He pulled my hair.
"Don't think of ever coming back" my mum screamed. She threw me into the back of her car. I didn't know what was happening or where we were going. They always treated me badly and I didn't know why. I cried hysterically for the entire drive. The car stopped and I was thrown to the steps of an orphanage. My small bag of things was thrown at me. My mum slapped me hard across the face and my dad kicked me in the stomach. I fell hard to the ground. The car drove away and that was the last thing I remembered before I blacked out.
My name is Imogen Reyes and this happened when I was 4 years old.
