Selena’s POV

*beep, beep, beep*

“Ugh,” I woke up groaning. Today was the first day of school. I looked at the clock and saw it was 6:00am, and the sun was already shinning through my window a little bit. I dragged myself out of bed and headed into my bathroom. I brushed my teeth and washed my face, and took a nice hot shower. When I got out I went straight to my closet debating what to wear. I didn’t want to be underdressed but I didn’t want to be overdressed either. I spent at least 10 minutes deciding what to wear. I finally decided on some shorts, and a nice flowy top. I curled my hair, and put it half up half down. I made sure I packed some gym clothes cause I found out I had gym last period. I hated gym so much. It was 7:15, so I went downstairs finding my mom, dad, and Acacia was already ready.

“Hey,” I said.

“Hey Hun,” my mom greeted me.

“Goodmorning sweetie.” My dad gave me a kiss on my forehead.

“Hey Sel. Ready for school?” Acacia asked.

“Not Really.” I laughed.

“Well be ready. Do you want mom or I to drive ya’ll to school?” Brian asked.

“No I can drive. I know where the school is. It’s only like 15 minutes away.” I said. “I wanted to get to school early so I could find my way around anyways.” I told them.

“Okay. You two have fun.” Brian and Mandy laughed.

With that Acacia and I were out the door.

On our way to school we listened to Karmin’s “Brokenhearted.”
