Free Falling

Chapter 19:

Chapter 19 is supposed to be called Love at First Sight, Too Late. It wouldn't let me change the title. Sorry for the inconvenience! 

They found me! How the hell did they find me!? I'd think they'd be having a total flip attack about me being from another world! Not searching of or me or some shit!

What the hell! Life was screwed up! I turned a sharp right; into a dead end.

"Shit!" I yelled at myself. I ran at one of the walls and jumped onto it. I then pushed myself up and towards the opposite wall. I did it a third time. Then I was on the rooftop. I watched as Ed clapped his hands and made a door in the brick wall that served as the dead end.

I sweat dropped. Man. I was smart. When I couldn't see the brothers anymore, I hopped down from the roof in a kneeling position. I stood up straight and bolted the way I had came. To ran right into someone.

"Sorry!" I said. I looked up. It was Al. "Shit." I murmured before standing up and bolting. And I tripped. I looked to see what I had tripped over and I didn't trip over anything. There was a freaking chain around my ankle.

I clapped my hands and destroyed the chain quickly. I turned to bolt again but, I was tackled. By Ed. Oh no. I just got rid of it! I'm having the eurge to kill! Dammit! Dammit! Dammit!

"Anna stop!" Ed said. I was now very thankful we were in the alleyway. I tried to get out from under him but man, for someone so small, he was heavy! Oh wait. He had automail. Oops... I forgot.

"Let me go!" I said struggling under his weight. Ugh! His heaviness was pretty bad!

"Not a chance!" He told me. Ugh! I finally pulled out enough to shove him off. I backed towards the wall with a hand clenched in a fist and the other holding my wrist.

"Anna, listen, I'm not trying to hurt you." He told me. I know he was upset about how I didn't tell him I'm from another world, but that's not why I looked scared. I was scared because I MYESELF didn't want to hurt HIM. I just went with it. He took a step towards me and I bolted toward the wall and jumped to try and climb over it.

Ed grabbed my ankle and pulled me back down but I held onto the wall top. I kicked him off but then Al wrapped his metal arms around my waist and pulled my back down.

"Let me go Al!" I yelled. I take it back. I'm scared they're gonna kill me. Or hurt me. And I'm also scared I might hurt them more then I mean too with this stupid stone as my freaking core!

I was gonna die! And probably more then once! Oh shut the front freaking door! I was in deep,deep, deep shit!

"Anna, we just want to talk." Al said calmly.

"I'll kill you both if you don't let me go and stay away!" I told him. He gasped then dropped me.

"We're not gonna hurt you." Ed told me rubbing his chin where a bruise started to form. "You have a hard kick." He said with a grin.

"No you don't understand. I'm afraid I'll hurt you. And if you stay, I will." I explained. Ed sighed and looked into my poison green eyes with his golden ones.

"You wouldn't hurt us and we're not gonna hurt you. At least I won't hurt you again." He took a step forward and I stepped back. "I promise Anna."

"You don't understand what I'm trying to tell you! I'll hurt you but not of my own free will! I can't control it!" I warned. Ed stepped up so he was an inch away. I could smell his breath for god sakes!

"Hey Al. Go tell Hughes we found her." Ed told him. Al nodded.

"Alright Brother." He said before running back towards the Hughes' house. Ed never looked out of my eyes. He gently reached out and took one of my hands on his and held my chin in his other.

I pulled back and turned my head to the side. No. The eurge was... gone. It vanished. Ed grabbed my chin again and forced me too look at him.

"What are you d-" He cut me off my laying his lips on mine. I went wide eyed in surprise. What the hell was he thinking!? Why was he kissing me after he had a flip attack and tried to kill me!?

Then I felt my heart flutter. My stomach churned and I pushed him away from me before I fell to my knees with a hand over my mouth and a feared look on my face. My eyes probably told it all.

My stomach glowed and the stone flew out of my torso. It hit the wall and turned into dust.

"What was that?" Ed asked concerned as he knelt beside me. I placed a hand over my stomach and kept my other hand over my mouth. I bet the fear was still written all over my face.

Ed placed a hand on my back; rubbing in circles.

**Ed's POV**

Something just flew out of Anna's torso and hit the wall; turning into dust. Ed knelt beside her and started rubbing small circles on her back.

"Anna?" He asked. "Are you alright?" She didn't move. She stayed still and starred into space. Ed frowned and waved his hand in front of her face.

"Anna? Answer me!" Ed said close to her ear. Anna's eyes closed slowly. "Anna!"

Anna's hand fell from her mouth and she fell forward. Ed caught her and brushed the loose strands of hair from her bun, out of her eyes. Ed placed her gently on against the wall so she leant against it.

At this time, Hughes and Al had come into the alleyway. Hughes carried her back to his house and placed her in her room. Ed had carried her bag back and set it next to the unconscious girl.

"This is all my fault." Ed told Anna once the others had left. "I'm sorry. I was mad you hadn't told us right away."

Ed rubbed his face with his flesh hand then took her hand in his.

"And I love you." He murmured. "I've known that from the start."
